There is a little Angel that came to visit me
I know that she is with me, though her vision I do not see
I often feel her presence, before I hear her drawing near
I know that she is with me, when her wings flutter in my ear
Her voice is very tiny, but I hear her oh so clear
When she sits upon my shoulder, and whispers in my ear
One day while we were talking, I asked her why she came
She said it was God's wish, and he had given her my name
Her job is to protect me, and help guide me everyday
She helps me to keep my faith, and near my God to stay
She's with me throughout the day, she never leaves my side
And when I fall asleep at night, with me she does abide
I am so glad that God sent her, she helps to calm my fears
And when things do go wrong, with her wings she dries my tears
She said she'll never leave me. it is not an Angel's way
And no matter how old I grow, with me she'll always stay |
