Jesus looked upon the earth
And saw what had been done
He bowed His head in sadness
"No one in this has won"
 
Jesus is now weeping
For the senseless loss of life
For all the pain and sadness
For all the untold strife
 
Angelic legions gathered
He sends them to our side
To comfort and protect us
The fallen with him abide
 
You can triumph over evil
Just hold strongly to His hand
You can count on Jesus
For He will always understand
