May I introduce you to our 1993 Daytona IROC Electric Conversion. The car started life in Conneticut, and was quickly salvaged and converted to electric in '93. It has been a resident of Minnesota since then, and I'm the third owner of this conversion. It came to me complete and operational - just needing a new traction pack. I replaced the 20 6V configuration with 15 US Battery 8vGC - keeping it at 120v. To date, I use it for my daily 20mile commute (round trip) @30-40mph - and it works excellent!
