Okay well welcome everyone to our first class of the semester. Today I decided to pick a creature at random and this weeks creature will be a Doxy who is also known as a biting fairy. If you're wondering, yes they do bite. If you are happen to be bitten by one, they are venomous and therefore you should take an antidote.
Before you get bitten and need to know wether or not to take an antidote you must know how to identify a Doxy. Doxy's are much confused with Faeries. However doxies are covered in black hair having a slight humany appearance only they are tiny. Their wings resemble the beetles wings which are thick, shiny and curved. They have two pairs of arms and Two pairs of legs.
Doxy's prefer cold climates and live in the Americas and Nothern Europe. They lay eggs and they may lay five hundred eggs at a time. The eggs hatch within two to three weeks.
Remember if you see a doxy stay away from them. This one that i have here is contained but if you can see, it has two rows of sharp teeth and that will hurt you if you are bitten. Also please remember they are venomous so stay away. I think thats enough for this Lesson so please be sure to complete your homework. If you cannot complete your homework do to an extended absence please remember to neomail me. (clueless81290). See you next week. |
