| It has almost been one year since I created my slide show. When I began this project I was looking for something to motivate the women cadets when they first entered the Fire Academy. The slide show audio of "The Wall" by Kansas has special significance to me. To me this song depicts many of our feelings when faced with new challenges. Ultimately this song states to me, that our success lies within us, and our spirit. The journey may be difficult, but within all of us lies the strength to overcome many adversities. The still pictures that I used were to show the cadets that they are not alone. There are many firefighters, and some are female. I really enjoyed doing this project and hope that others may take away something from this as they view it. |
