| MY 2002 RESOLUTIONS |
| As I looked upon the cold January night sky, I wondered what this year would bring with it. The astronomical wonder of Jupiter coupled with the bright full moon on New Years, reminded me that life is always full of suprises, some good and others not so good. It was during this time that I made a couple resolutions to myself, and hope that I can remember to follow through with them each opportunity I can. I resolve to hug my children each day, even if they think they are too big. I resolve to be grateful for everyday I have been given on this earth. I resolve to make this world a better place, one small task at a time. I resolve to look for beauty, even on my worst day. I resolve to learn something new everyday. I resolve to respond with kindness when faced with hatred. I resolve to live by deeds, not words. I resolve to be more concerned with "mud pies" then "dust bunnies". I resolve to take the 10 seconds needed to think before responding in anger. I resolve to teach my children tolerance. I resolve to make someone smile each day. I resolve to look at the world from the eyes of my three year old son, and discover a wonder long forgotten. Finally I resolve to try to be a better person, mother, and wife. |
