| Lowest Winter Temperature 1996 was the year that Wisconsin recorded it's record Low Temperature of -55 F forty miles SSW of my location. I wasn't keeping records at that time, and have to rely on DNR data... but I know my temperature was close to -50. Also, the Winter of 2004-2005 was the coldest winter in the last eight years, not since 1996-1997 has the temp dropped below -27. |

| Highest Summer Temperature You'll notice that 2004 was the coldest Maximum Temperature of the last 10 years... not since 1994 has the Max Temp been as low as 87F. Average Summers produce one to three days that reach 90 F, so it was a cooler summer. Further proof of the cool 2004 summer: In Duluth, MN, September's average temps were warmer than August's. |
