| Door County Maritime Museum - Cana Island Lighthouse Night Beacon Lighthouses - Cana Island Lighthouse Cana Island is linked to the mainland by a rock causeway, surrounded on three sides by Lake Michigan, with Moonlight Bay to the south and North Bay to the north. There is a museum located in the keeper's house with many stories of wrecked ships and storms whose waves inundated the island. A brick tower and house were completed in 1870 but the tower was encased in steel in 1902. |
