I'm not entirely positive who owns this park... Iron County? I know it's not a State Park, so that leaves Iron County.

Located a few miles west of Gurney, WI on the Potato River, Potato River Falls is actually two falls: Upper and Lower.

There are three viewing platforms, which can be reached by three seperate sets of wooden stairs (I forgot the exact number, but the two main platforms have over 100 steps each), but it is worth the effort.

There is a small picnic area and a number of secluded campsites on a rustic dirt road loop. I think there was a hand-pump well and vaulted toilet.

Right:  The lower part of the Upper Falls (these are a little harder to get to)

The path to the Lower Falls observation deck takes you down several flights of stairs and through the woods. I included this picture because it is an excellent example of the vast forests of northern Wisconsin.
The view from the Lower Falls observation deck is spectacular, with a bench to sit and rest for the trek back up the stairs :)
