There is a story behind Erynne. A big one.
Mi Enya, her dam, was perhaps our best broodmare when crossed with Valor, and we foolishly sold her. Trying to fix this error, we were about to lease Enya's daughter, Adeca, when Adeca died of colic. Thankfully, we were able to track down Enya's only other daughter in Texas - Erynne. We will always be indebted to Verna McClellan for allowing Erynne to come back to us. Thanks also to Claudia Provin, who owns Erynne's sire, Promise L Tasik, for seeing the wisdom in breeding Enya to Siqr - Erynne is far better than I ever could have expected. With her first foal by Valor, a WHOPPING filly we have named Kellyn, we are thrilled to DEATH and now feel completely at ease with our Enya replacement. Erynne will never leave home again, and she will have a lifelong mate with Valor. |
