Red Card

My first thoughts while browsing red card were "Yeh, this site looks good, why not have a read?" So i did the designer Sheikh had done a good job on the layout of Red Card. It seemed to have quite a good following for a new site as it had quite a lot of hits. I was also quite impressed that they could get a person of the calibre of Marc Vaughn for an interview. They seem to have an on-growing list of staff members that has genertaed from Veron and Karembeu who founded the site, (i think) to a list of 5 now, not bad for a new site. The additions incclude, Marshy16, Bell and kane. I didn't bother looking at what there jobs are but i guess they don't all have major roles at the site. Like a lot of sites including my site, Jarfurs CM Homepage (http://cmjarf.cjb.net) Red Card has invested in a christmasy layout, sort of. They have added a picture of Sanata Claus. (well done lads! nice and original)I'll stop talking about the front of the page now and get down to what everybody want, the content! Red Card mainly focus' on the latest games (cm 99/00, 00/01 and CM 4) They also have a hints and tips section. These sections are prett ok but no where near the calibre of the big sites. They have a very easy to complete "challenge" section, this section isn't really worth a visit but they have some very good downloads, and a very good, very big selection. They don't offer much in the way of CM Scene news; they have an ICQ and IRC contact page/s section a message board and a website (links) section. They have a small sewction named "RC Staff" This includes the About us, contact and job vacancies section. If you need a job and you know a bit about CM then apply for a job. The RC (Red Card) job section is very easy to use and gives a lot more informantion to the employer. There guides are the best i've sen on the net by along shot. They have 12 fully functional guides; including, lower lague, media, players and staff. They have big projects coming soon, or so they say. RC also offers a features section which is basically a comination of staff and CM Scene sections offfering Biographies, Interviews, etc. Red Card is tipped of nicely with a little section entitiled "Humour" this is basically a section where the public and the RC member come and submit jokes. I found this section very funny and recommend you view it. Great idea guys!

In conclusion i think that RED Card is a decent site but just needs a bit more original content. There guides are second to none. But there is still room for improvement. Never the less it is definitely worth a visit.
