So Div, What inspired you to make CM Online? Well actually, I had a site up at the time I decided to make CM Online which was very popular but it wasn�t something I was interested in, when the new CM came out I got it pre-release and looked at the websites list, I noticed that the standard was somewhat poor apart from the big ones(TheDugout, CMCenter and UCM) and thought with my HTML skills and CM Knowledge I could make a site which would succeed. Do you feel that CM Online will get any better? Definitely, when I get more staff and a co-webmaster, I feel that we'll have enough firepower to mess with the big-boys. Already our content has doubled since the opening and I plan to keep it going at that rate. Do you have any major plans for the future of CM Online? Well I plan to get into a Network and get my own domain in the future, but that's a couple of months away. Then maybe we could start hosting other sites and helping them out. But that�s something which I have scarcely thought about, I�m more concerned in establishing the site first. Is CM Online just a CM 00/01 orientated site or do you have bigger plans for it? I don�t actually have CM 99 anymore so I�m having trouble adding content for that and the guy I hired from CM3 is on study leave so when he gets back hopefully we'll have a more widespread game coverage. Which site do you think is the best on the CM Scene and why? Well of course its TheDugout. They have all the original ideas and every other site has their ideas in different forms. Until a site can produce original ideas to match TheDugout, its gonna stay like that. Do you feel there is any competition for the dugout, not including CM Online? Oh yeah definitely. Two sites in particular have better attribute than TheDugout at the moment. CM Center has the better design and CM Gamer has more updates. In one of your site reviews you took quite a dig at UCM, (Ultimate Championship Manager) why was this? Well, firstly it was my opinion and secondly, I guess I haven�t been on the CM Scene long enough to see why the site gets more hits than any other bar the TheDugout (and now CMGamer) Well you were exactly write in your critiscism of UCM as it has been subject to quite a lot of criticism around the scene recently. You commented about CM Gamer and CMCentre having some better aspects than thedugout, don't you feel that SIGames figures as a major site? Well...no. They have the forums to help out the games users but apart from that their site is nothing special. They hardly ever update and their CM Portal has been in progress for the last month or two. BUT, the CM Zine in SI Games is a really great feature. Which team do you usually manage on CM? Glasgow Celtic because I support them in real life. Which team/s do you think is the best team on CM? Parma or Bayern Munich are the teams the most often win the Champions League when I play with Celtic, probably Parma more than Bayern though. Who are your favourite players on CM? Kennedy Bakircioglu and let me think.. there's someone else.. Mark Fotheringham. Who do you think is the next Saviola? Probably Brutil Hose of Ajax. Palermo is the best striker but not young enough to be considered a Saviola. Who do you think will win the Scottish Premier league this year? I think Celtic will win it narrowly. What do you think of Rangers' latest signing, Norweigan star, Tore Andre Flo? Biggest waste of space ever, a bad signing ever by Rangers' standards. They could have got alot better for �12m and maybe even sorted out that dodgy defence of theirs. Do you think that Hibs will become a major challenger for the SPL in the future or are they just having a one season wonder? Well, if they can finish second maybe but if they finish third then they wont really get the financial support to become regular challengers. I personally hope they win the league so that the competition will become better each year. Aside from Celtic and Rangers who is the best team in Scotland? Well...Hibs. What do you think of the news that Celtic and Rangers may break away from the SPL and join the European Super League? Its not going to happen, UEFA have rejected and thank God. Who do you think are gonna win the English Premier League this season? Man U or Arsenal, I don�t think there�s that much competition. Ipswich are the Hibs of England, they have chance but if they get any injury's there f**ked. Who is the best player in the Premiership? Giggs. What do you think of my favourite team, Sheffield Wednesday and who are our best players? I think Sheffield Wednesday need to get more local boys in to improve their chances of getting back into the Premiership. The foreigners you have dont really have the grit and heart to care what league the club is in. I think Alan Quinn is someone you should keep. I agree. Finally, what did you think of the big derby match on Saturday, Wednesday vs United? I thought it was good game and that the fans deserve more than two teams in the first division.
