CM Spain

CM Spain, the first time I saw this site i thought that it looked suspiciously like TheDugout's layout. I then did a bit of researching and found out that TheDugout had gave the people at CM-Spain to copy the layout of TheDugout as CM-Spain is hosted by TheDugout. CM Spain is the official website of the Spanish researchers. Now lets get to the good bit's, the content. CM-Spain seem to update regularly, they currently have quite a few jobs available so if you want a job at a decent site you've found the right place, just click on the job vacancies page. CM-Spain is split up into eight sections intitled; the game, downloads, players, tactics, graphics, cm guide, cm scene and a links section. CM-Spain was impressive in another department. The site is in two different languages, Spanish and English. I first took a look at the section, the game. I was very impressed at the amount of content in this section, they had the history of CM 1, 2, 3, 99/00 but they don't yet have CM 00/01. I checked these sections out and saw a decent amount of content but a lot of it looked like they had just copied it out of the instructions manual and of the bottom of the box. Also inside this section theres another few sections, sub-sections if you will; there intitled, game info, screenshots, system requirements and CM Records. I looked a t the game info kind of expecting what i was about to see and i was right i saw all the original info about what new leagues were added for each game and all the extra tweaks the CM staff had done to improve the game. Then theres a screenshots section which is filled with screenshots from most of the games in the CM series. Then theres a system requirements section which is just telling you what your computer needs to have to run CM. Then there's two sections, one how to buy CM online and the other called CM Records which is the exact same as the hall of fame, it's where CM gamers come and submit there achievements to a list to see if they can out match each other. The next big section is intitled downloads it has 8 sub-sections intitled top downloads, recommended, latest downloads, editors, updates, official upgrades, utilities and other files. They have masses of downloads and a lot of them are a bit crappy. I was very impressed at the utilities section they have loads of utilities for every version of the game from CM 1 right through too CM 00/01, they have about 10 downloads per game version in this section. The next main section is entitled players, this section consists of all the best players form every version of the game, it is quite a useful section for newbies but not that useful for anyone else, although it is a nice bit of original content that should be on every good CM site. The next section is intitled tactics, this section was highly impressive. They have tactics for every version of the game, i was especially impressed that they actually had some tactics for CM 00/01 this is quite special for a CM site as not a lot of sites have CM 00./01 tactics directories. The next big section is graphics, this is your average graphics section filled with menubars, backgrounds and wallpapers although i was impressed at the fact that they have over 100 menubars from club menubars to sexy women menubars. The next section is the tip of the CM-Spain iceberg the CM Guides. Although they don't actually have any guides they have cheats, (newbies) tips and hints, game help, in game help, a help desk and a section where readers contribute there work to the site. Then we come to the last main section the CM scene this is filled with news from in and around the cm scene, all the latest news about new sites, big stories and major updates. The last section is your standard links section that know major CM site can go without, this is the section where all the new sites come and submit there link to help generate a few extra hits.

In conclusion i think that CM-Spain is a good site with some potential, i don't think that it will ever become the best site but could easily become a top 5 sites.
