CM Online are the best up and coming site, they are web-mastered by Div. (David McLaughlin) CM Online have one of the nicest and pleasing to look at designs in the CM Scene. Designed by Div. Yesterday it announced that it was holding a competition to give away one of the old CM Online layouts. CM Online changed layouts at the start of December, they changed there layout from a picture of Edgar Davids to a picture of Filippo Inzaghi because Div says that his Davids pic was getting a lot of stick. Anyway lets get to the good part, the content.

CM Online is dividied into 7 main sections intitled CM Online, CM 00/01, CM 99/00, CM 3, Utilities, CM Scene and Community. We'll start with the Championship Manager 00/01 section. The firt one is intitled introduction this is a general introduction to CM 00/01 telling you whats new about CM 00/01 and the changes they have made from the old edition. Then the next sub-section is intitled new features this tells you all the new features in CM 00/01. The next section is called getting started this section tells you how to get started in CM 00/01, i think this section was designed for the Championship Manager newbie to give them a general bit of incite into how to get started on CM. The next section is intitled expectations, this section covers all the expectations that the board will throw at you from "The Board want the Title" to "Improve your squad". The next section is called indicators explained. This is basically telling you all the icons (ie. FGN=Foreign) on CM and what they mean. The next section intitled leagues is a rundown a short description of all 26 leagues on Championship Manager 00/01. It gives you the name of the league, a short description and then a difficulty rating. The next section is called teams, it has lists of rich teams, good teams, challenge teams and personal favourite teams, it also gives a difficulty rating. The next section is the media guide this is a guide of how to handle the media in CM 00/01 from how to handle parise to how to handle critiscism. The next section is intitled players unhappiness this section gives a description of players unhappiness and how to handle it. The next section is called transfers but unfortunately this is an error page and i can't report on it. Then we move on to the next section intitled players this section includes; rich players, cheap players, rising stars, trash can, vus' player guide and jedstorm's player guide. The next section is called tactics this is an excellent bit of original content it consists of; defensice tactics, normal tactics, attacking tactics and favourites.

The next section is the hints and tips section, this is the obligatory section that is on most sites telling you the usual, how to get players on bosmans and sell them for a lot of money, managers against the work permit, etc, etc. The next section is intitled screenshots, it shows a person who hasn't got Championship Manager 00/01 what there missing by showing them brief glimpses of most the aspects of the game. The final sub-section in the CM 00/01 section is called menubars it has a mass of menubars designed by Div McLaughlin. The next to sections are a little bit of a let down, CM 99/00 and CM 3, they are currently designing more sections. But at the moment they have four pieces of good original content in the CM 99/00 section; introduction, good players, league guide and tactics. The CM 3 section is exactly the same but it has one extra sub-section intitled getting started, this section is already show but in its CM 00/01 form in the CM 00/01 section. This proves without a shadow of doubt that CM Online have the best and most comprehensive CM 00/01 section.

The next section is the Utilities section it includes; downloads, competition, columns, interviews, join us and and a CM4 ideas section. Then we move on to the usual CM Scene section, CM Online have reasonably good coverage of the CM Scene and are up to date with all the latest news from around the scene. It includes; a notice boards, site reviews, top 5 and a site of the month competition. The seventh and final section is intitled community, it consists of seven sub-sections including; introduction, interact, guestlist, (recent addition) misc links, add your site, your shout and website guide. They also have a picture corner and a detailed look at the top 5 cm sites.

In conclusion i feel that CM Online has the potential to become one of the, if not the biggest site on the CM Scene, it has great content, a hard working webmaster in Div and a great, pleasing to look at design.
