- Damanhur, Italy
- Founded in 1977, Damanhur is an internationally renowned center for spiritual research.
Situated in Valchiusella Valley, in the Alpine foothills of northern Italy, Damanhur is
a Federation of Communities and Regions with over 800 citizens, a social and political
structure, a Constitution, 40 economic activities, its own currency, schools and a daily paper.

- Tamera is a cooperative of people who work for the future with the intention to build a
model for a nonviolent culture. Our goal is to build a research settlement where the most important
themes of a new, sustainable culture concept are developed. Tamera is located on 134 ha land (330 acres)
in the south of Portugal, about 20 km (12 miles) away from the west coast.

The Belize River Valley area is one of the most historic and beautiful areas of Belize - boasting serene river
sceneries with gently sloping banks - pristine tropical rain forest areas. It is centrally positioned in the
country and is approximately 30 miles from Belize City with a long tradition of subsistence farming and
forestry work especially in mahogany.

- The Folkecenter for Renewable Energy is an independent, non-governmental organization. It was

- The
Hockerton Housing Project is the UK's first earth sheltered, self-sufficient ecological
housing development.
- Sherwood Energy Village, Nottingham, UK
- Sherwood Energy Village is a major initiative for the East Midlands transforming a 91 acre former
colliery in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire into an environmental enterprise comprising industry, housing,
recreation and leisure
- Beddington Zero Energy Development (ZED), UK
- BioRegional�s latest project is to build a sustainable urban village on a brownfield site in South
London. ZED will be home to 90 apartments, maisonettes and houses, community facilities and office space
for 20-30 businesses.
