  • Paper Adobe
    Paper adobe (also called fidobe, short for "fibrous adobe") is even cheaper-it is made of dirt and paper/cardboard, both of which are free or very cheap. Unlike regular adobe, rammed earth, or cob, paper adobe has considerable insulation value. The blocks are lightweight, and easy to work with. Paper adobe holds a screw, and can be painted.
