| The Duomo (Cathedral) in Florence was way more ornate than we thought it would be. It is made from cream, green, & pink marble, and it's enormous! |
| Ah, the gelato. I'm not sure we could talk enough about the gelato. Good thing we were walking all day, every day. It made up for the 4 or 5 gelato pit-stops we made every day. Basically, if we saw a gelateria, and it had been more than 2 hours since our last cone, then we were game. MMM! |
| If you squint, you can see Justin standing in the corridor created by the Uffizi. This is where the Medicis ruled Florence from; I think it's the prettiest office building I've ever seen. It's a museum now. |
| <---Hey David. You're the main reason we drove to Florence. This is actually a replica. The real one is in the Accademia, and pictures are not allowed, but it was awe-inspiring. Justin was amazed. For once, Courtney was speechless! |
