MUSIC IN CHADS LIFE
When I first met Chad in 1995, his love for Rock N' Roll was awesome, he was so into the band KISS he even dressed as Gene Simmons. He liked bands like Metallica, Ozzy, Pantera, and Manson. In 1999 he started to like Rap. Eminem was a white rapper who arrived out of no where and Chad started rapping every word to every song. But even then Chad went back to his roots and played some of his favorite Rock N Roll songs on the guitar which his dad and band member Jeff Garrett taught him how to play. Chad was in a few talent shows and did well. Chad Garrett listen to music until the day he died. At his funeral music played a big part in the final chapter of his life as long time friends, Dan Tuinstra, Chris Uffman and Troy Brock played Wish you were here by Pink Floyd.  Then as a final tribute his dad played a short version of Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin which was awesome. I can safely say Chad made my interest in music greater then it was before. May music play a big part in all of our lives and may it sooth the soul
