Thirty-five rounded-edge strands of chocolate colored, butter soft deerskin ... (milk chocolate on the "hair" side of the leather, dark chocolate on the opposite side), approximately seventeen inches in length, descending from a six inch leather diamond braided, wooden core handle with decorative turk's head knots and a six inch long wrist strap.

Diamond braided portion of handle is  brownish burgundy and tan - more like chocolate and coffee mixed than chocolate :) Turk's heads match the talons.

This item is naturally balanced (without added weight) at the midpoint of the lower turk's head knot.

This was one of my first sucessful attempts with Turk's heads :)
