Locked away

Based on Cinderella by Disney and its characters.

Changed event  - Cinderella never released from her room after being locked up. Takes 
place in our time



     The men tried to open the door but something blocks it.  "Give it a kick," Terry said 
the door gave away as they kicked it. The two men looked in shock. A body of a woman 
lay next to the door, oddly enough the body was still intact and had not decayed. Brad 
was puzzled "Wonder why she was looked in here?" He felt something in her dress.  
Brad removed a glass slipper from a pocket. "It's like the one at the palace. She must had 
been the missing girl, " He walked around looked through the dresser drawers and the 
closet. Brad found a tattered pink dress in the closet. Terry looked puzzled "What 
happened to that thing?"   "Who knows maybe she got into a fight. Lets tell the queen 
about this, " Brad responded 
      They took the body to the queen who had more questions then answers.  The body 
was laid in an empty room near the ballroom  "Why was she locked up?" Queen Rose 
asked. Brad laid the dress beside the body "We to find out who she was and who lived 
with her, "he explained. Terry began to shake.  "My family has passed a secret from 
generation to generation for a long time. I don't know if much of it is true anymore? "  
"They called her Cinderella" he continued,   "Who are you talking about?" Brad asked  
"My ancestors Lady Termaine and her daughters.  They hated Cinderella and did things 
to her I don't pretend to know. They turned her into their servant and forced her to wait 
on them, " he sadly explained.  "When they heard of the ball for prince they tried to stop 
her from going. They ripped up her dress. Somehow she went to the ball and danced with 
the prince. " Terry began to cry as he explained what happened next  "When they found 
out she was the mystery girl at the ball they locked her up and never let her out. There 
was too much danger of her running away and reviling everything. "  Brad replied angrily 
"What could drive people to do such horrible things, " A man walked out from behind a 
door. "Prince Henry surprised you would come, " the queen responded "I have been 
hiding for centuries trying to figure why I am still alive and now I find her and the 
horrible truth. I don't blame you Terry it wasn't your fault,"  "I searched high and low for 
however made the glass slippers and found nothing.  I also forbid all balls and parties 
from going on later then eleven. Staying up near or past midnight brought back painful 
memories, " "Lets put the glass slippers on her feet,. " the queen suggested "They are 
hers after all,"   The prince removed her work shoes and placed the slippers on her feet. 
"Maybe we should get that pink dress fixed so she has someone better to wear then that 
outfit," Brad suggested Just then Cinderella's work clothes changed into the ball gown 
she had worn before and she began to move. She looked at the prince. "Where am I?" she 
asked Prince Henry helped her up. "This is why I was kept alive so long. Someone meant 
for me to find her and return the slippers, " "Well Cinderella your about 600 years late for 
the ball, "Brad laughed they went into the ball room and danced. They live happily ever 
after.
