The events of Aurora and Phillip’s wedding day
Prince Phillip couldn’t stand it. He had been waiting for some time and wished Aurora would come. Phillip wore an outfit much like the one he wore when he brought Aurora into the throne room. He like Aurora couldn’t stand to be separated from each other. The wedding music began and the doors to the church opened. King Stefan appeared escorting his daughter Aurora down the isle. Her wedding dress was the same as the blue one she wore most of the time except it was white. She wore a veil with her crown under it. Soon they were side by side again. “Do you take Princess Aurora to be your wife?” the priest asked, “I do” Phillip replied, “Do you Princess Aurora take Prince Phillip to be your husband?” “I do” Aurora answered, “Does anyone object to this marriage?” the priest asked. No one answered him. “I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride, “ Aurora and Phillip kissed. Fauna cried happily “I just love weddings, “she told Flora and Merryweather
Later they danced and celebrated in the palace. “Three cheers to the newlyweds” said Herbert “Don’t you guys get drunk again, “Phillip warned him. Phillip turned to Aurora with a thought on her mind “What are you thinking about? “ he asked, “It doesn’t seem right. Its like part of my childhood was taken away from me by Maleficent. I barely know my parents, “ Princess Aurora answered. Afterward they retreated to the room where Aurora was first brought into the castle and fell under the spells that lead her to the tower room. “Remember when we met in the woods? “ Phillip “I thought you were a peasant and I know you thought the same of me, “ She answered “Yes I did. We didn’t know who each other was at the time, “ “Remember when your dress changed color as we danced? “ Phillip asked “How come I forget I had Flora make a pink one so they would stop fighting, “ Aurora “It’s too bad you won’t be wearing that glade dress anymore. You left it at the cottage, “ Philip replied “The fairies brought it when they brought the pink dress, “ Aurora answered, “I have a request. I want to spend the night in the tower room, “ Aurora continued “The one where you fell asleep? “Phillip asked “How long did I sleep up there anyway? A day, a week, “ Aurora asked “You slept a day in there. I know it’s your bedroom now. Why do you want to go up there? “ Phillip asked “It just seems appropriate after what we have been through up there. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else, “ Aurora answered “Your right lets head up there, “Phillip replied “Wait I have another idea, “Aurora replied. Princess Aurora carried Prince Phillip halfway up the tower and then he carried her the rest of the way up. The room was the same before. Aurora slept on the same bed she slept waiting for Phillip to wake her up. “It just didn’t seem right to be carried up all the way. I started to think about when I was hypnotized, “Aurora explained. The spinning stood at one side it no longer looked threatening. “Why do you keep that thing up here? Doesn’t it give you the creeps? “Phillip asked Aurora picked up a box from a table and opened it to Phillip “I changed the spindle. This is the one I pricked my finger on. The fairies checked it and said it was safe but I just didn’t care I didn’t want to mess with it again, “ She put the box back down. Phillip closed the door and blew out the candle. The next day Aurora got up and headed for her closest. Phillip lay in bed. He saw in her closet the matching Blue and pink dresses and the peasant dress. Aurora put on her peasant dress and crown. . Aurora had put on her blue shoes she usually wore with her blue dress and her crown.. King Hubert was waiting for them. “Well are you guys ready to go to the honeymoon palace? “ he asked Aurora and Phillip “Yes but I don’t want to leave my parents because I barely know them, “Aurora explained “Its only for a couple of weeks then we will be back here, “Phillip told her “Good I want to get to know my parents I have been away from them for sixteen years because of the curse, “ “Did the fairies warn you about that because they brought you here?” Phillip asked “No they didn’t and they something wonder if it had made any difference, “Aurora explained “but I made that palace for you to live in, why stay here? “ Herbert asked “Aurora’s right she needs to know her parents after all she never met them before, “ “Well alright then if you want, “ Herbert agreed. Later Aurora left with Phillip for their honeymoon.
