The Reception
Thank Yous

We could never have accomplished so much in so short a time alone. Here, we are dedicating some web space to thank as many of you as we can. In the case of businesses, we will try to include web links to allow others to see you as well. If we erred in omitting you, please don't be insulted. We have been together for 14 years. That means we are much closer to Alzheimer's age, do be gentle and let us know so we can include you.

Financial

John and Karen Donlon for generously financing the reception and encouraging us to do what we wanted even when we wavered. As always, our patrons and guardian angels.

James Herod for that winning smile, hosting our numerous visits to sites, and so many meals.

Dave Jenkins and David Spivey for purchasing the groom's boots and donating to the wedding service several times (even when we didn't want to ask).  Your unwavering support has meant a lot.

Labor

Brad Armpriester for leaping forward to plan, coordinate and build the Faire games. Who else would dodge axes all day?

Karen Ayers, the enthusiastic shutterbug, for not just capturing but adding to the fun of the day.

Beau Carr for taking on the challenge of teaching us and our guests to dance. Sorry about the toes.

Debbie Donlon for volunteering to help coordinate the feast of feasts. And training the flower girls.

Donna Donlon for gracefully arranging to design the tables. A rose never smelled as sweet (and neither did the trunk of your car, we hear).

Lauren and Brianna Donlon for blossoming in their roles at showing the Bride where to walk.

Ryan Donlon for shouldering the burden as Lord of the Rings. Sorry Beau, the spot was taken. Thanks also to Ellen Donlon for assuring the Ring Bearer's garb and attendance.

Paula Greer, the coordinator to end all coordinators (thanks for the fruit and cheese before we collapsed), and floral designer extraordinaire.  You probably hear it all the time, but WHAT WOULD WE HAVE DONE WITHOUT YOU????

Nancy Hakenson for remembering to take care of the cameras, photographers, and Sue's to do list.

Greg Kohlenberg for making the Best of the distance and being at every important stage from proposal to wedding day. So ... whatcha  gonna do with those frequent flyer miles?

Rick Lum for craftily managing to design and create the groom's armor. Nice firm handshake.

Tally Sanford for the enthusiasm, organization and sanity. Yes, it is unreasonable to send out invitations 18 months in advance.

The Staff of the Pence Springs Hotel for giving it their all and treading where angels (and ghosts?) fear to go.

Materials

Diane Christensen for pouring love and funds into a perfect pair of wedding goblets.

Gene Farris and his employer at Better Living Components for saving scrap lumber from the fire for our games.

John and Wendy Lincoln for owning up to the task of running the Reception Site. So, will you host our Anniversaries Through the Ages too?

Tammy Robinson of The Enchanted Needle Costumes for tailoring the bride and groom's attire.

The folks at Chivalry Sports for their Courtly Service and beautiful goods.

Emotional Love & Support

Marice Grissom - the chief proprietor of the Grissom Inn for wayward wedding planners. Can we shop or what?
