STAR TREK IV THE VOYAGER HOME

There is and alien object heading towards Earth and rendering every ship it passes powerless and is trying to contact humpback wales on Earth. The Humpback whales at the time in the 23rd century is extenct. When it can't contact the Whales it starts to evaporate the oceans on Earth and eventualy destroy the planet surface so there won't be any living thing on Earth. The Enterprise has been destroyed and Admiral Kirk and his crew has stolen a Klingon Bird of Prey. After the Vulcans transformed spocks katra back inside him (Star Trek 3 the Search for Spock) they were heading back to Earth to face their crimes. On the way their they descover a mesage from the federation president warning all ships to stay away from Earth. Admiral Kirk must attempt time travel to 1986 San Francisco to find two Humback whales to save their Earth from certain destruction.
