Rock & Roll
*Tips* 1. when first trying them just lightly set your truck over the lip and try turning out of that. work your way up to fully extending your board over the coping after mastering that.
A rock and roll is much less challenging to learn than a rock and roll to fakie because you don't have to worry about falling backwards unexpectedly when coming out if it. I suggest learning this trick before the rock and roll to fakie 1. ride up the transition at a moderate speed so you can reach the top. 2. as you are appraoching the coping, lift up your nose a bit so you manual over the coping and as you are doing so, turn your upper torso backside but do not kickturn... keep your feet and board perpendicular to the coping. the purpose for this maneuver is to create a faster turn out of the stall. 3. extend your front leg so your board stalls on the coping and try to get your front wheels to rest against the table of the obstacle you're doing the trick on. 4. bend your front leg a bit and push down on your tail to come out of the stall and proceed in doing a sort of kickturn out of it. this should not be too hard if you followed step two and turned your torso backside before hand. 5. roll down the transition and look cool.
