JK Harris & Company - Des Moines (457 Offices Nationwide)

To the Reader:

The above Ad appears 365 days/year in the Des Moines (IA) Register Newspaper. It appears only in the Central Iowa edition which consists of these 26 Counties:

Adair Greene Madison Poweshiek Warren
Audubon Guthrie Mahaska Shelby Webster
Boone Hamilton Marion Story - -
Carrol Hardin Marshall Tama - -
Crawford Jasper Monroe Union - -
Dallas Lucas Polk Wappello - -

Obviously, there are enough people in Iowa and the USA who are being harrassed and bushwhacked by the IRS to justify this level of advertising by the JK Harris Co., which produces enough income for them to support 457 Offices nationwide.

Ads in the Des Moines Register don't come cheap! The one above costs JK Harris
$84/day in the Central Iowa edition. Annually, it costs JK Harris $30,660 to run the above Ad on a daily basis in the DMReg.

So far, I've not seen any of the Ads in the StateWide edition, i.e. all 99 Counties in the State. That edition cost $96/day ($35,040/yr).

Bear in mind, the above Daily prices are based on running the Ad 365 days/yr. If run less frequently, the cost is much higher. (See DMReg Ad Prices! below).

Here's the Register's pricing for an Ad of this size & type: DMReg Ad Prices!

These figures are for Iowa only. I imagine the JK Harris Co. places Ads in a number of newspapers across the USA and, therefore, their annual total Ad budget must be SIZEABLE!

Many of those "in trouble" with the IRS are victims of that Gestapo-like Agency's intimidation and trickery (and outright lying!). The complex, complicated, incomprehensible Income Tax System plays right into the IRS's hands and provides them with the ability to over-power, trick and trap the average taxpayer.

Go see what your industrious(?), thrift-minded(?), honest(?) IRS Agency does with the money it squeezes out of you! Check out this about the IRS... TAX  FACTS

The Federal Tax Courts more often than not rule in the IRS's favor simply because they (the Court and the IRS) are on the "same team" and both "draw their pay" from the same paymaster... the Federal Government.

From the 'git go' it's a rigged game... rigged in favor of the Government and its minions, the IRS Agents and the Judges -- against the hard-working (and virtually helpless) taxpayer. Read this: Does anybody care?

If you've got the stomach for it, GoTo: IRS Abuses!  Don't say I didn't warn you!

The JK Harris Company capitalizes on the hapless taxpayer's dilemma and bleeds him for even more of his hard-earned money. One can't blame the JK Harris Co. for taking advantage of the vunerable situation in which the taxpayers have been placed by their government... 'tain't JK Harris who's at fault... it's our own government who is doing this to us! You know who I mean... those same CongressCritters who recently, at midnite, sneakily voted to give themselves a $5,000/yr raise! ...and now, just months later, are scheming to do it again!

Likewise, the H&R Block Company capitalizes on the complexity of the Income Tax Code by 'selling its help' to you, the taxpayer, in filing your Tax Return each year. Today, over 1/2 of all individual filers seek out and pay H&R Block (or other tax accountants) for their service. What a come-off, eh? ...don't blame H&R Block... the dumping of this load on taxpayers must be laid directly at the feet of our greedy, self-serving Government.

Is there nothing that can be done to change the unfair, rigged abominable Income Tax System so that the American taxpayer is treated fairly, with the Dignity and Freedom intended by the Founding Fathers of our country?

Yes, there IS something we can do! We can demand that Congress and the President change the method of funding the government to one that brings back FAIRNESS & FREEDOM to America!

We can rise-up and insist they enact HR 25, The FairTax Act! If they fail to do so, we can 'turn 'em out of office' and replace them with some CongressCritters and a President who will pledge to do the job!

I urge you... don't 'sit on the sidelines'... join in this historic citizen's movement. Your children, grand children and all future generations of this great nation will forever thank you for lifting the abominable Income Tax System from their backs.

Phone, Write or Email me and I'll be happy to tell you how you can participate. It's not that hard, nor will it take that much of your time for you to effectively help in bringing about genuine tax reform.

GoTo: FairTax INFO! to learn about the FairTax.
======================================

P.S.  Let's be clear about one thing... the FairTax advocates are not protesting the paying of taxes. We accept the fact that it takes money to run the government and the money, in the final analysis, comes from the citizens.

We do protest the archaic, insufferable method now used to impose and collect these taxes, i.e. the broken-down, messed-up Income Tax System (which Albert Einstein said was the most difficult thing in the world to understand) and the use of the Gestapo-like IRS as collectors!

The FairTax calls for replacing the present abominable Income Tax System (and IRS) with a much, much fairer and more efficient (far less costly) method of raising the money to fund the government. FYI... the FairTax Plan is "revenue neutral," i.e. it provides the same level of funding as is provided today.

It's also about ridding us of the Washington, D.C. based 50,000+ Gaberdine-suited, Gucci-shoed, Tax Lobbyists, many of whom roam the Halls of Congress daily carrying satchels-full of campaign money to donate to your CongressCritters for inserting special tax-breaks and loopholes into the Tax Code to favor their (the TL's) wealthy clients. (Whew, that's a mouthful... but, sadly, true!)

Controlling the level of government expenditures [The Annual Budget] is a different matter and is not dealt with directly by the FairTax Plan (nor is it dealt with by the present Income Tax System)... nor should it be.

How the government raises money and how the government spends money are two different subjects. To view them as the same is to confuse both and clarify neither.
