Hello, please take a moment to review the following guidelines:
- No cussing or personal insults. I've got an "unsubscribe" button (which I anticipate using sparingly).
- "Brevity is the soul of wit and wisdom!" ...but, if you need a bit more space to make your point or get your message told, use it!
- Primarily, this list is to discuss HR 25 FairTax (Linder/Peterson). However, we do occasionally discuss [be brief] the NRST (Tauzin) and other versions of the National Sales Tax designed to replace the Federal Income Tax.
- If you've got something to say about the so-called "Flat(Income)Tax", or some other Tax Reform plan, or the IRS, then go ahead and say it (briefly, please). However, this is NOT the forum for discussing the Bob Schulz/Irvin Schiff "No Tax" plan. If you want to espouse that idea, please go to their website.
- We are NOT "Tax Protesters," we are "Tax Reformers."
- We recognize that it takes money to run the Gov't. We believe, however, that there is a far better way to fund the Gov't than the incomprehensible, complex, unfair, costly, inefficient, complicated, abominable, unAmerican Income Tax System (and its Gestapo-like enforcers, the IRS) that we are saddled with today.
- The best way, IMHO, is: H.R. 25, The Fair Tax Act of 2005 ...a Bill now in Congress (House Ways & Means Committee) and the duplicate Bill, S. 25, in the Senate Finance Committee..
