The Anti's These are self-serving, misguided or misinformed folks who, for selfish and other dubious reasons, oppose (or do not support) HR 2525, The FairTax.  *  *  *  *  *

(If you think it'll make you feel better, go ahead and have a cry!)

1. Tax Lobbyists - There are over 50,000 D.C. Lobbyists specializing in schmoozing Congress for tax-breaks/loopholes in the Tax Code to benefit their wealthy clients.

These Gaberdine-suited, Gucci-shoed men (and women) roam the Halls of Congress with their satchels full of money to donate to a Congress- Critter's campaign fund in exchange for the Critter's arranging special "tax-breaks" or "loopholes" for the lobbyist's rich clients.

Over the years, the Tax Code has become riddled with these special breaks for these privileged parties (the lobbyists clients). I'll give you
one guess as to who has to pay more taxes to make-up for the shortfall caused by these rich clients of the tax lobbyists. Y-O-U... that's who!

As a group, there's only one bunch that I can think of who probably will oppose replacing the Income Tax with the FairTax moreso than the Tax Lobbyists... that's the group coming up next... the CongressCritters!

2. CongressCritters. Many of these so-called "hallmarks" of integrity oppose changing the Income Tax System. Why? Very simple... it's easy for them to hide, becloud, obfuscate taxes in such a way that you can't see how much they're bleeding from you. They know that if you knew the total that they were milking from you, you'd send 'em packing!

Hence, watch most of the CongressCritters oppose the FairTax... that is, until Y-O-U make it known to them that they W-I-L-L support it, or the people you send to R-E-P-L-A-C-E them will.

Speaking of "hallmarks" of integrity... The Critters sneakily (at midnite) voted themselves a $5,000 raise about eight(8) months ago. Guess what? they're getting set to do it again! Hey, it's better'n a license to steal!

If you believe these self-serving characters will willingly change the tax system and make it harder for them to do their midnite raids... well, I've got some high mountain ski slopes here in Iowa that I'd like to sell ya'.

3. Some Insurance Salesmen. Here's a scheme (legal, of course) which enables certain Insurance Agents to beat the Income Tax System? Have a look at this "milking" operation: Insurance Scheme!
