You've all been waiting for someone to come up with a better tax system. Well, here it is. It's called the FairTax.

A word or two from the Webmaster about Al Ose: Al Ose is a taxpayer who has had enough of our convoluted system. He has worked as a volunteer for Americans For Fair Taxation for almost four years. In his life he�s worked for $1.10 an hour and more. He has never understood why we must waste so much time and effort on a system of taxation that is so backward. To him our tax system seems to have been invented by our worst enemy, and in fact, it was (see Appendix 2 in his book). Someone reports how much he saves; someone else reports that he bought a stock. He cannot save or invest without someone reporting him. This isn't what America was intended to be. This isn�t freedom.
