Tampa Community Band

The Tampa Community Band was founded in 1988 by Mr. Ed Solomon. Since then, the band has grown to well over 40 members.

The Tampa Community Band is composed of musicians from all walks of life, from professionals to students. These volunteers perform an average of 6-10 free concerts to the Tampa Bay Area every year. Past performances include nursing homes, retirement centers, hospitals, picnics and churches.

We have a variety of stocks in our folders, featuring Broadway Favorites, Light Classics and Patriotic Marches. Rehearsals are held each Wednesday night, 7:30-9pm, in Hyde Park.

If you are currently play an instrument, or used to years ago, pull it out of the closet, dust it off and come join us for an evening of music and entertainment.
