This picture was taken in the Del Rio area north of Chetwynd BC.  That is the Pine River flowing through the valley.  There was a major oil spill (something like 1.2 million barrels) about 100 miles upstream from where this picture was taken.  Lots of free-range cattle were in this area and were quite brave.  One of the trucks we were with got stuck in a bog that was filled with clay based "Prairie Gumbo". Before they knew it or had a chance to get out of the truck they were surrounded by a whole herd of  cows.
