About our Community:

Our Mission:

Above everything, we are a community of parents, who are trying to raising our children in this God forgotten world, according to the principles put before us in the bible. As any Christian parent knows, this sometimes does not come easily. A Christian parent can stumble, and they can fall. That is why it is essential to have other like minded parents there beside you, ready to pick you up when you are about to 'break'. To listen to you when you are down, and to laugh with you when your child does or says something completely out of the blue.

To support one another as sisters and brothers in Christ as we raise our children in a God-forgotten world. To edify one another in the teachings of our Lord and Savior, and our creator, Jesus Christ. For if it weren't for him we would not be here.
To share in the joys and tribulations of parenthood and marriage, to keep each other lifted up to God in prayer for his will to be done. To share our praises for all he has done for us, for everything to be for his glory alone.
Amen

We are a support group, and a wonderful one at that!
We are not perfect, we are forgiven.
In order to raise good Christian children into strong Christian adults, we have to be faithful Christian parents. The journey through parenthood teaches a person many things about their selves, and their walk with the Lord. You have to be able to lead your children by example, just like our Lord gives us in his word. So our community isn't 'all about the kids' , it is about the parents, as well.

The perception of what the Christian life is like to the outside world can sometimes be far from the truth. Just because you are a Christian does not mean you do not get angry sometimes, it does not mean you don't make mistakes, it does not mean you are any less susceptible to depression, and it does not mean that you life will not be full of trials.
What it does mean, is, that you have someone there to pull you through those hard times, to give you comfort when you are depressed, to guide your footsteps through the challenges in your life, and that someone is God working in you through the Holy Spirit.

So our community is about being the best Christian Parent we can possibly be, by walking strong in our Christian faith. We are about making our faith in God come alive in everything we do and say:
"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."
1Corinthians10:31

We have a lot of fun on our board. The members vary in ages as well as the children. We have parents from age 23 all the way to the bright young age of 50. There isn't a question that can be asked that you won't find someone who has "been there done that". We have parents who are new to their walk with Christ, and some that are more mature in their walk. But we all have one thing in common, we are trying our best to walk closely with the Lord, so we can train our children up in a way that would be pleasing to him.
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
Proverbs 22:6

We are beggars leading one another to the bread, which is the word of God. We are all growing daily in our walk. If you have something to say, we do not know unless you post, the same when you have a need, so please feel free to post your thoughts and what is going on in your life and encourage others!! :o)
"........ he that watereth shall be watered also himself."
Proverbs11:25

"He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor."
Proverbs 22:9

It is our prayer that we would be able to bless someone, in some way, some how. We also pray that you will be blessed through the pages of this website. This site has been a work in progress for almost a year now, and God isn't finished with it! :o)
