Feb 28, 2002 Vince's Birthday!! We are celebrating over a 4 day period: last night Cornelia treated me (and the boys, and ds1's girlfriend) to supper at a local steak house - yum. I had surf and turf (200g Rump steak, 1/2 portion of calamari, baked potato and vegetables (carrots and gem squash). What a treat. The boys both had a 700g rack of ribs, C had surf and turf, but chicken instead of steak, chips instead of baked potato and salad instead of veges. Little lady had ribs and chicken (1/2 ribs, 1/4 chicken). Yum, yum and yum!!!! Today was the actual birthday, and C produced a plate of eats for work, in spite of her back being in severe pain. She's an angel, and I often think that I don't deserve her: she's way to tolerant of me and my moods..... Tomorrow evening, we're having some friends and local family over for a burger braai (BBQ). Saturday we're going to the rest of the family (about 40km/25miles away) for a Braai (BBQ), this time with lamb cutlets, boerewors (literally farmers sausage, you have to taste it to believe it) and salads (maybe a few extras as well) So you see, I am being treated like a king, nevermind a prince. I have to thank God for the wonderful wife he has given me, and I must thank Cornelia publicly for going to all this trouble. There we go, report back done!!! Vince
