William was born June 1st 2001 and was a healthy baby, although very high demand. We moved 600
miles 10days later to a new Air Force assignment. When William was 6mos old I started to
induce solid foods to him and he was unable to eat at all, vomitting and gagging everything
other breastmilk out. At about that same time William fell off the growth charts and we started
running various tests. After 4 evaluations, 3 medical tests we still only know that William
has a hypersensitive gag reflex that also includes lanquinal reflux and a milk allergy. Now at
almost 14mos William sees a psychologist for feeding therapy, OT at home for eating and small
motor therapy, and OT at the office to work on some sensory defensiveness that William exhibits.

We have made great strides, William has mastered drinking from a straw and sippy cup and is
showing less of a sensitivity to milk. He is also able to eat some foods of certain textures
when placed to the side of the mouth because he still has not learned how to move food with his
tongue. William has delays in large motor and small motor skills, but we are working on them
deligently. Just recently, William has started to really smile, giggle, and play happily for
the first time. We really feel like we are finally getting to see some of our son's personality
shine through!

We could use prayers for the medical professionals working with William and our decernment when
following guidelines.

William could use prayers as we continue to challange him daily with tasks most take for granted.

Mom could use prayers for patience and better time management with all the daily demands.
