kids say the darnest things...... just a little background. for several years I was a vegetarian, to this day I don't eat veal or lamb. each year for Easter my mom makes lamb and my uncle brings a ham. for what ever reason (pregnancy) the smell of the lamb in the oven was making me sick all day. i never said anything to my dd's... i just kinda sat around and tried to avoid the kitchen.we sit down to the dinner table and my oldest, Alana, (5) says "mom why doesn't the turkey have legs?" i tell her that it isn't a turkey it is a lamb. "like the white fluffy ones we just saw at the zoo?!?!?" very emphatically stated "I will never eat that... YUCK" to which my brother responds "yup, can't tell she is your daughter!" just thought I'd share.
