Year in Review: 2002 I have had many blessings this year... In the beginning of the year when I was 6 months pregnant w/ Lauren I was in that car accident and Lauren and I were both completely fine..Our car was totaled though but through all that we ended up getting a MUCH needed mini van(that dh would not get since the car was just fine....it was way to small for 3 car seats though..LOL) PTL!!! I had an u/s too that my doctor was concerned about Lauren's kidneys and when we went back to get another it was just fine..PTL!! I went through a lot when Lauren was due to be born w/ Max being away at the time w/ training. I was told that when I went into labor they would locate him and send him home. Well, I went to the hospital and tried to get ahold of him and they told me that since it wasn't an emergency they wouldn't get him...I was devastated...I am here by myself w/ my family all in OH and then Max wasn't there either...I told myself to stay strong and not cry. My sister went over the Red Cross here in OK and straight to the Red Cross in Louisiana where he was...Right when Lauren was getting ready to be born a nurse comes in telling me that Max was being sent home..I knew he would obviously not be there for her birth but as long as he was on his way...Well, that turned out to NOT be true but PTL for her message because I was FINALLY able to relax and have her... I later found out that he didn't even know yet. I was wating in the hospital all that time for him to come but he never did..Finally a day and a half later he called me and he the only message he had been given was that I was in labor so I had to tell my poor dh that Lauren was born a day and a half ago...:( BUT PTL they released him immediately and he was home in time to pick us up and bring us home. We have gone through alot w/ insurance problems but PTL for taking care of us.. I am also thankful for the opportunity to go home to see my family for Christmas and meet my new niece Abby who was born on Oct 2nd. It's been a year full of ups and downs but it all worked out in the end.. God is so wonderful!!!
