Dawn's answer- I've talked about this before, But it was child abuse for me (me being the abuser). I still have thoughts running through my head when I get extremely angry or frustrated which let me know that I am still capable of falling. However, the Lord has given me the ability to push those thoughts aside and move on. My deliverance became confirmed to me this past week when my dd was without her Ritalin. (She had run out, and I didn't have the money to have the new prescription filled.) It takes extreme patience to deal with her when she doesn't have any of her meds in her system, so this past weekend was especially trying. But you know what? We made it through. There were several arguments, and I wasn't very happy with how her sisters handled themselves either, but beyond one garden-variety spanking, I hit no one. I don't know if any of you can truly realize what a triumph that is for me, but I can guarantee that it's not me. It's the Christ that lives within me!!!
