Jan 29, 2002 "My 5 year old daughter asked Jesus into her heart this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Feb 05, 2002 I am so spirit-filled lately..... The enemy keeps telling me it's just a phase, or that I am a "new again" Christian and it will wear off. I just don't think so! Sometimes I can't imagine it being any better. We had a wonderful weekend at the Couple's Retreat. Very spiritually refreshing and relaxing for us to be just a couple again. Also I let my guard down and I am making friends with women from church. Now, we have been at this church 2 1/2 years, but previously I only went to the surface level with these women, and pretty harshly judged them in my own mind. I have never had a lot of friends, but now I am making so many,because the spirit of God is shining in me and drawing others towards me. I went to a Ladies Bible Study at church this morning, which was also wonderful. I look at my calendar and it seems every week I have at least 4 church-related things on it. That is just amazing to me! No wonder I am so happy. (And this from someone who struggled with serious depression on and off for 15 years!) Lisa Feb 08,2002 I have 6 praises!.... I lost 6 pounds in my first week of the Weigh Down Workshop! God is SO good. It is only by focusing on him instead of food that I was able to do this. My weight is under 200 (199 but who's counting) for the first time in about 7 years, save for about a month last summer. I am on cloud nine. Or maybe I should say cloud six.
