Praises~Praises~Praises!! I have a big praise! It is so amazing when you truely start giving to God with a cheerful spirit what you get in return! We have been struggling financially for MONTHS - DH is trying to get started in Real Estate, and took some classes which put us into debt, and then invested some money into fixing up his parent's house to sell, which put us further into debt, and one of our cars has been dead for months and we just haven't had the money to fix it, then our entire septic system needed replacing... more debt! on and on and on it seemed to go, it felt like we could never get our heads above water. we were still giving at church, but it was always a "whatever we have left over" type deal, and some weeks nothing at all. we've been praying and praying and praying about what to do, and our pastor met with us to talk about our situation. he suggested that if we changed our attitude about giving to God, making it a priority instead of a last thought type thing, we might see a change. Well, we started this month, making sure we had a set amount aside for church, and THIS MONTH we have been SOOO blessed!!! Here's the list, lol!: We sold DH's parent's house, which gives us enough money to get out of ALL the debt we were in for DH's real estate training and investments!! Praise the Lord!! DH made his first "Real Estate Deal", making enough money to pay off the debt for the septic system, another credit card, AND get the car fixed!! Thank you God!! I have done our taxes, and we're expecting a HUGE refund, much larger than I had first projected before I actually sat down to do them!!! Praise Jesus!! With all of the blessings we've received, we will pay off all of our credit card debts, leaving us with only 3 student loans left to pay. And get our car fixed, and possibly have enough left over to take our hoped for summer trip to see my sister's graduation this June, and go to my high school reunion! It blows me away how quickly and ABUNDANTLY God works, all we needed to do was change our attitude about giving to Him, and He has taken care of all of our worries! We didn't even really increase the amount we were giving by much, we have jsut made it more important, relying on Him to provide for our needs, and He HAS!!! What a lesson for me in trusting in the Lord!!! Just had to share! Erin, Isaac and Ezra
