Click here to see more pictures! DH was an answer to prayer the other day. He just hired a manager to run a mini-storage that he built with his parents. Well, the ladies car broke down. It had over 400 miles on it. Can you believe that? The lady cared for the car like it was a baby. She does not have the money to pay for it. She's on limited income. She was mentioning this to my DH. Telling him that she wouldn't be able to manage the mini-storage because she was going to have to get a job to pay for the car. The manager job doesn't pay much. It's a side job kind of thing. Anyway, DH mentions to her that his friend just fixed up a car and wanted to sell it. DH's parents use to own this car. HE knows it runs good. DH told her that he would buy the car for her (thru the co. acct.) and then she could pay him back by being the manager. She was so happy. She told my DH that she had prayed to God the night before. I can't remember the exact prayer, something like, God, I don't know what to do. If it's in your will would you provide a car for me. That just made DH smile. Thanks for reading. God is cool, huh? The Beginnings of the snippets I'm on my way to take Hannah to gymnastics, but wanted to share something with you. I read this morning about "Keeping Your Word." Psalm 15 Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman, who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the Lord, who keeps his oath even when it hurts, who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken. Vs 15:1,4 Who may dwell in Your holy hill?... he who keeps his oath even when it hurts. Do you keep your word/promises even when it hurts? We should keep our word even if it costs us dearly to do so. If we agree to a task, we must do it. If we promise to pray for someone, we must do it. If we pledge to "love, honor, and cherish until death separates us," we must keep our promise. I just found that Psalm so facinating this afternoon. Happy trails everybody, C2 How did Caroline choose her screename?... "Mines boring. I'm Hannah's momma"
