Tony and I live in Valdosta, GA, in the US. We moved here four years ago from Florida, when my husband received an opportunity to open his own business. He left the corporate world after 17 years, and I sold my "brick-n-mortar" business of 12 years. We have settled in the beautiful countryside, where we are raising the youngest three of six children.
The move left me unemployed, and wondering how I was going to be able to help with family finances? Wanting to provide a parochial education and a quality up-bringing for our children, a home based business seemed the optimum answer to supplement our income, without sacrificing the care of our children to others.
I researched many home based businesses, and learned that the promise of overnight wealth with little or no effort should be reason enough for outright rejection. Even many of those without lofty promises turned out to be more interested in extracting an entry fee, than working through a solid business plan to achieve financial results. Others were simply unadulterated pyramid schemes.
After so many disenchantments in my search, I was understandably suspicious when I first stumbled onto DHS. Since the membership was free, I joined as an associate member and continued my research before commitment.
The concept seemed like a breath of fresh air to a coal miner; a solid, sensible business plan with the only promise that you'll get as much out of it as you are willing to put into it. The more I delved into DHS the more I could envision the potential rewards that would result from a well crafted approach and dedicated effort. I was so impressed, I told a dear friend in Missouri about DHS. She wasted no time in joining.
Since I'm an "all-in" type of person, I quickly realized that VIP was where I belonged to fully satisfy my ambitions.
Certainly, my primary interest is financial...providing for the necessities (and a few extras) for our family. But I am also a very results oriented person, for whom time flies in a team focused organization, and helping others achieve their goals, gives me great satisfaction.
The DHS Club appeared to be everything I was looking for. A company that offered a genuine opportunity to earn an immediate income as well as a long term residual income, offered products that people use everyday, and a CEO, whose open door policy is unsurpassed. Only one question was left to be answered. "How do I begin?"
The e-business institute and personal help from VIP coaches was more than I expected. The Club Advantage Business Building System provided me a network to start with. With dedication and effort from me, I was on my way to a successful home business!
I have recently been approved as a Marketing Director. And you can too! Just "follow the yellow brick road..."
It is my goal to achieve Presidents Club status and attend the Ducks Nest retreat, where I can fish in Mr. Burke's favorite fishing hole!
