| Wow Douglas. I read some of Ann Coulter�s �Treason� at Barnes and Noble the other day, and I have to say, it eerily reminds me of Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler (particularly when you compare the way Hitler talked about the Marxists and the Bourgeoisie vs. how Coulter talks about liberals.) Personally, I think any book that claims that the horrors of McCarthyism is a myth invented by liberals is inherently suspect. (Kind of like any argument that claims the holocaust never happened.) Besides that, the venomous tone of the book is quite unsettling. Yet, people seem to love this book. It really makes me question where this country is headed. Nicky C |
