| Eccentric: adjective: 4) deviating from the norm, as in conduct; odd; unconventional. Websters New World College Dictionary, 14th Edition. The common definition of a scrub is someone who is a loser. Someone who has nothing going for him of herself. Clearly that wasnt the case for me. Though I wasnt an ace student, I clearly had intellect. I was generally on the honor roll in 7th grade, plus I was a social studies wiz. I also obsessively read boxing magazines and books and could name every champion there ever was in the heavyweight, light-heavyweight, middleweight, etc. divisions. I also knew a great deal about other sports, like baseball, football, and basketball. I was also an armature computer programmer. |

| In addition to my many talents, I was also very reclusive. I never joined any groups and I never hung out with anyone because I was the same way then as I am now. I hate talking to people I dont know very well. Since I didnt really know anyone, I talked to no one. As a result I lived a very reclusive life in 7th grade. Almost hermit like. Doesnt this sound like someone who is eccentric rather than a scrub????? | ||||||||
