- A flavouring syrup made
with ginger, lime and spices produced in the West Indies. 3 per cent alcohol
per volume.
- Fanta
- The name of an orange
carbonated soda. Non-alcoholic.
- Faygo
- A brand of soft drinks
available in different flavours and colours.
- Fennel Seed
- Seed of a fragrant plant
with yellow flowers.
- Fernet Branca
- A bitters made of herbs,
with a strong medicinal flavour. Produced in France and Italy.
- Finlandia Cranberry
- A cranberry flavoured vodka
produced by Finlandia.
- Finlandia Vodka
- A well-know brand of vodka
produced in Finland, 40 per cent alcohol by volume. Finlandia also make a 100
proof and a pineapple vodka.
- Fino Sherry
- A very dry type of sherry.
- Fire and Ice
- It is a shot liquor that
tastes like cinnamon when you swallow it, but like mint when you exhale. It's
VERY sweet and is not pleasant if you've had too much of it.
- Firewater
- What Native Americans used
to call whiskey. By association, the old name for whiskey. There is also a
cinnamon schnapps by the same name (100 proof).
- Five Alive
- A brand of frozen drink
concentrate made from the juices of five different citrus fruits (orange,
lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, lime)
- Food Colouring
- Artificial and edible
colorant mostly used in baking.
- Forbidden Fruit Liqueur
- A liqueur made from a
particular type of grapefruit (shaddock) as well as honey and brandy. It has
not been made in a number of years.

- A brand of cider produced
in England.
- Framboise
- French name for raspberry,
often used to refer to raspberry schnapps.
- Frangelico
- A liqueur made of hazelnuts
and an infusion of berries and flowers. 24 per cent alcohol by volume.
- French Vanilla Ice Cream
- French vanilla flavoured
ice cream - the vanilla used in France has a different taste than the one used
in many Anglo-Saxon countries.
- French Vermouth
- Vermouth produced in France
(see Vermouth). It is usually drier than the Italian vermouth, and has a spicy
aroma.

- A type of low calorie soft
drink with a grapefruit flavour.

fruit. 2. A type of soft drink made of fruit concentrate/extract, water and
sugar.

- Liqueur made with any type
of fruit. The most common way to make liqueur is to either let the fruits
macerate in alcohol, or to distill them.

- 1. A type of soft drink
flavour. 2. A cocktail made with fruit and fruit juices.
- Fruit Yoghurt
- Yoghurt with fruit morsels
or with fruit flavour.
- Fruitopia
- A type of soft drink made
of fruit concentrate/extract, available in multiple flavours.
