I'm three and a half months pregnant now. I can see my belly start to swell with Clark's child. It's amazing, but terrifying. It's all to real now. Before it was just the thought that I was pregnant, but now I can see it happening. I have a little life growing inside of me and that life was made by me and Clark. I can't help but smile as I look in my full length mirror at my profile.

Last night while me and Clark were studying for that big test we have. The baby moved for the first time was reading about the immigrants from Ireland. Let's just say that the study session was cut short when I gasped and put a hand to my slightly rounded belly. The rest of the night was spent lying on the couch together with his hand on my stomach, waiting for the baby to move again.

No one knows about the baby except Clark and his parents. But some conceded cheerleader saw my abdomen while I was changing for PE. She yelled it in front of the whole class saying "Lana's knocked up by that farmboy!" and everyone was all around me asking questions. I had to run out and hide in the couselors office to get away from them. I haven't told Clark about that.

Ever since that day rumors flew and Clark found out from some blushing 8th grader. He was concerned why I didn't tell him but I said that I didn't want to worry him. He was upset that I didn't confide in him but that night I made it up to him... if you know what I mean.

I've gained a lot more weight over the last month and I was starting to feel gross and unattractive. But when Clark looks at me with that loving, lusty, sexy look in his eye, I feel like my old self, pre-preggers.

Like I said I'm scared, but I got myself into this and the way out is even more terrifying.

Clark POV

I have to admit, it is scary to see her tummy start to protude out, but when I feel that fear I just think 'I love that woman' and the fear just fades into the backround.

The other day this short kid came up to me and told me that everyone was talking about me and Lana. How someone saw her pregnant belly and yelled it in front of everyone. I didn't believe her until I was approached by three more girls and two guys all telling the same story and I got a congrats from the guys. Lana was keeping something from me.

I was a little discontented when I found that she had kept it from me. I was deep in thought all the way home on the bus that day. Lana asked if I was okay and I told her what those kids had said. She was reluctant to talk about it, but in the end she admitted that it was true. I was upset most of the day, but then she showed up in my bedroom doorwar wearing a robe. When the robe fell away she had on a silk and lace teddy and I instantly forgave her, I mean I'd have to get my head examined if I didn't.

I smile as I open her bedroom door to see her with her shirt lifted up and studying the rounding of her belly. "Hey beautiful." I say and I walk in and place a hand on her abdomen. She smiles up at me then looks down, her face getting a grave expression. "What's wrong?" I ask her, turned her to face me and putting my arms around her, holding her tenderly.

She looks up at me with tears in her eyes. "I told Nell about everything that's happened. She yelled at me and told me I'm ruining my life and I'll be miserable for the rest of my teenage years and I'll never know what it's like to be young again. Clark, I'm scared." she confessed, then burst into tears and collapsed against my chest, her small frame shaking with the force of her tears.

Lana POV

It was the four month check up when my world went completely off track. The doctor told me that the heart of my child had stopped beating and he figured the reason was a major emotional trauma that triggered my body's instincts and my body unknowingly killed my unborn child. I was catatonic through his entire speech, Clark was holding me and I could tell he was holding back tears for my sake. I lost my baby.

The doctor told me about some support groups and couselling sessions in Metropolis. I declined and Clark took me home. I feel like a horrible person because I just lost my baby and I relieved. Of course I'm dying inside from greif, I lost a part of myself, but at the same time I'm so relieved.

~*~*~*~*~

Lana sat was sitting on her bed cross legged when Clark came in her room. She had been silent since yesterday, the day they found out. Her belly had gone down and all that remain was a bit of chub and a tiny bit of swelling. "Lana?" he said sitting on the bed.

Her blank eyes turned to him and stared. "I'm a monster." she said without emotion.

"What? No, it's not your fault. You were under stress. It's okay, the doctor said you can still have children." he told her, trying to comfort her.

"It was all a conspiracy. It was as if I was never supposed to get pregnant. First you father won't even talk to me anymore, then everyone in school finding out, then Nell yelling at me and basically saying that it was a curse..." she trailed off. "Clark?" she questioned.

"Yeah." he reached out and took her hand.

Lana's gaze dropped to their clasped hands. She missed seeing their skin next to each other. She remembered before all this when they kissed and touched and laughed and fooled around without care. She wiped a tear away and looked up at him again. "Do you still love me?" she asked in a tiny almost pained voice.

"Of course I still love you. Why would you think I would stop?" he asked her, scooting closer and cupping her cheek. She shrugged her eyes downcase as one hand came up and covered his on her cheek. She closed her eyes and gave into his tender touch, her face leaning into it. "We've been through a lot together. Before we were a couple there were so many obstacles to overcome. We got through Chloe's death and the wrath of my father. I know this is a lot tougher for you... it just kills me inside to see you like this." he told her.

She managed a weak smile and locked eyes with him. "I just thought that you'd think I was a horrible person because our child's little heart stopped and I'm relieved." she confessed.

Clark nodded, he understood what she was feeling. He too felt the relief and so did his parents. "Lana, it's only normal to feel this way. We're in highschool and we're young. You aren't a horrible person. I too feel relieved that I won't have to see you getting sick all the time and worrying about everything."

"You do?" she asked. "I thought you wanted the..." she trailed off, not able to speak of her child in the past tense.

"I did. But it was hard to see you go through all that pain and spending hours in the bathroom. Now we can heal from this and get back to the way we were." he said. She nodded and went into his arms, curling up in his lap. "It'll take time but I'll never let you do anything alone."

"Thank you, Clark. You've always been here to protect me. Remind me to thank whoever sent you to Earth." she said. He was right, it would take time. She was still dying inside from the loss but being with Clark made it hurt less. She knew the pain would eventually stop and she knew she would never forget her lost child. But she always had Clark to make her feel like she was important.

Courtney walked up to the small barred window in the door. She peeked in and looked around. The white padding in the cell was reflecting the white light of the single lamp hanging from the roof. The light reflected and make the room brighter than it ought to be. She took in the small bed with the straps to hold the patient down when needed, and the barbies lying on the floor, all but one with it's head torn off. "Hello?" she called, then jumped back and gasped when the face of a crazed woman appeared in the window. "Goddamn Lois!" she cursed. "Don't do that."

Lois giggled insanely and pressed her face against the bars. "Sorry. Well actually I'm not. You shoulda seen your face." she whispered in her physicotic tone of voice.

"Whatever. I did what you asked. Lana is no longer the future mother of Clark's child. Now, I want to be re-embursed because I had to pay that doctor a hefty ammount of money." The red head said.

"Aaaaahhh." she said in a pleased voice, ignoring the comment about the money. "Is Lana all distraught and hating Clark?" she asked like a child of christmas day asking what was inside a large wrapped box.

Courtney shook her head, no. "Last time I looked in on them they were cuddling and whispering to each other in the hall, like two days after they were told that huge lie and the doctor did the abortion. Man you'd think that Clark could use the x-ray vision and see the the kid wasn't dead inside his precious girlfriend."

Lois made a loud growling sound and slammed her hands against the padding on the solid steel door causing Courtney to jump back a bit. "You fool. You were supposed to break them up. God, what do I gotta do to make you understand. First you tried to nab Clark yourself, which was a bust, then you try to make then split up by exposing the little secret about Lana with a bun in the oven. For the love of Clark, you are so stupid, Courtney!" she scolded.

"yeah and like you plan worked wonders." she said forcefully back. "You're pathetic you know that? At least I'm not stuck in the looney bin playing with dolls and singing that stupid worm song." Coutney had been employed by Lois after she was thrown in this place. Her and Lois had been friends at Smallville High the time she had been there. She had been reluctant but Lois gave her half a million dollars and a beautiful apartment with the view of the creeks.

"That's true. But I paid you a lot of money you dumb bitch and I expect some results. Now show me some creativity." Lois said then slid down the door and lay down for a nap.

Courtney sighed heaily in frustration. "What a looney wench." she said then turned and crept back out of the mental ward and back into the physical illness portion of the hospital to see finish her visit with her 'reletive'.

~*~*~*~*~

"This is a nightmare." Lana told Clark quietly. "A complete nightmare." she elaborated, her eyes full and fear and dread.

"Yeah. I can't believe she's back." he agreed. "I thought she was gone forever." he shivered in fear and watched the dreaded woman walked in the door.

"Good morning class." Mrs. Beezley greeted her class. "It's so good to be back. I see there have been some seating changes while the substitute was here." she glared at Clark and Lana who refused to make eye contact with the dreaded teacher. "Mr. Kent and Miss. Lang, if you please." she said pointedly.

Clark sighed and reluctantly got up from his seat beside his girlfriend and went back to assigned seat. He hated teachers who wouldn't let boys and girls sit together. When he sat down in his seat on the other side of the room he looked over at Lana who was looking just as disappointed as he was.

"Now that everything is settled... I have a project for you all. You'll be working in pairs in this. You have to study a two actor stage play and write an essay, do a poster, and perform a scene from the play." the ancient teacher explained then started handing out the sheets. "I will be choosing your partners." the class let out a long drawn groan. "Now that's enough. This is highschool. Grow up." when she was done handing out the papers she picked up a small sheet of paper and began reading off the names.

~*~*~*~*~*~

Lana sat in the library with Courtney, her partner. "So, you seem to be in a better mood this week. You've been down in the dumps for the past month." Courtney told her 'friend'. She knew the reason, but she had to play the best friend game and get the dirt on Clark and Lana so she could devise and plan to break them up.

Lana shrugged and said, "Bad few weeks. But everything is getting better. I've decided that I don't want to be sad forever over something I can't control." she opened the play book again. "So Yucca is the one that gets famous and she brings her roomate, Paula with her?"

"Yep. So, have you and Clark got back on the horse if you know what I mean?" she said with that glint in her eye. At Lana's blush she laughed. "I hope your being more careful now."

She froze. "You knew about my being pregnant?" she questioned.

"Yeah. Everybody knew. Clark's a hottie and your the prettiest girl is school, word travels fast in circumstances like that." Courtney explained hoping that Lana wouldn't ask how she found out that Lana 'lost' the baby.

"But. No one knows that I'm not pregnant anymore. I never told anyone except Clark and his parents." Lana said putting the book down and studying her friend closely. "Is there another rumor I should know about?"

Suddenly she got the best plan. "Clark told me." she lied and delighted in Lana's shocked expression. "yeah I know. We were talking the other day when you were at home sick. I didn't want to tell you think but he came onto me." she lied again, plastering on her best feeling bad face.

"What? He came onto you? Like how?" she asked, her heart beating so fast and her brain racing with millions of questions.

"He was just getting closer and he tried to kiss me. He told me that he was tired of the same thing every night. He told me that grass is greener on the other side." she lied through her teeth and she was enjoying the look of hurt that meant Lana was buying it. "I'm sorry Lana. I guess he's not the best guy after all."

"You're lying." Lana told her but didn't look like she believed her own words. "Clark would never do that. He loves me." she looked right into Courtneys eyes and then got angry. "You lying bitch. All that was bullshit because Clark only went to school one day while I was recovering at home and that was for half the day."

"Well in the half that he was at school he came onto me. Why don't you believe me I'm your friend. He's a guy that you sleep with and we both know that guys get cocky after getting some." Courtney said getting carried away with trying to make Lana believe her.

Lana just had enough she stood up and firmly slapped Courtney right across the face leaving a crimson mark before she stormed out of the library to find Clark. She didn't have to look far, he was sitting against the lockers working on the project with his partner. "Clark. I need to talk to you." she said seriously.

He knew this was something big. "Okay." he got up and followed her into an empty classroom. "What's wrong Lana. You look like someone said I cheated on you." it was meant as a joke but when she just stared at him he knew something was really wrong. "Lana what happened?" he asked her.

"I was just talking to Courtney and she said that you were coming onto her that day you went to school when I was recovering at home." she told him. "Is it true?" she asked her hands on her hips putting on a tough physicality to hide the hope that it wasn't true.

"Of course not. I talked to her and she was coming onto me. She told me that grass is greener on the other side and all this other garbage. I didn't do anything with her. Trust me." he told her.

Lana held the stiff posture for a few beats then dropped it and went into his arms. "I'm sorry. I'm still a little emotional I guess." she said holding his tight and forgetting about the lying bitch that used to be her friend.

"It's okay, sweetheart." he told her and placed a kiss on the top of her head. She smiled up and him and their lips met in a sweet kiss. "We should get outta here before Mrs. Beezley catches us.

"Too late." the teacher in question said as she stood at the door.

Oh shit, they both thought to themselves.

~*~*~*~*~

"I've never had detention before." Clark said, bewildered that he was actually in trouble. Him and Lana were washing some grafidi off the outside walls of the school for their dentention and Clark was holding Lana up so she could paint over a particularly high place.

"Oh don't worry honey. There's a first time for everything. I've never gotten dentention before either. But I'll probably get Saturday school with a kick Courtney's ass." she said in an overly cheery voice.

Clark chuckled and lowered his girlfriend to the ground. They had been going out for seven months now and it was still as if they had just started going out. Most couples tone it down when they reach the four month milestone but they were still in the honeymoon phase after seven whole months. "Don't get into anymore trouble, Lana. I think Courtney just felt guilty for what she did. Everyone deals with guilt differently." he told her.

"Yeah true but she didn't have to switch the fault to you." she pointed out before bending over and picking up the sponge again.

He smiled as he got a full view of her backside. "That's true but you always knew she was a strange girl." he told her as he picked up his own sponge and they worked together on the big letters that spelled out 'Eat Shit and Die Mr. Morrow'.

"Yeah. It's too bad that I have to lose a friend over a lie." she said as she worked on the big 'E' in the spray painting.

"Why can't you talk it out?" Clark asked as he worked on the 'Mr.' portion.

Lana shrugged innocently. "I just slapped the bitch, that's all." she said not stopping her task.

Clark couldn't help but chuckle. "I see well I think he deserved it but still..." he trailed off.

She stopped working and turned to him. "Are you taking the side of the chick who tried to frame you for cheating on me?" she asked, wet sponge in hand.

He shrugged working on the 'M' of 'Morrow' now. "Maybe." he teased. She made a shocked sound had threw her wet sponge at him. "Oh," he stopped working and turned to his girlfriend who was trying to look innocent, "your gonna pay for that." he said dangerously but still in a joking way.

Lana giggled and ran as Clark chased her around the schoolyard. She ran to the jungle gym that the elementary kids from across the field play on. She squealed as Clark followed her up to the top where the big slide was. She giggled and started down the slide. She looked up behind her to see if he was following but he wasn't. She smiled proudly and looked back down and there he was standing at he bottom of the slide. "Ah!" she screamed playfully as he caught her.

"Gotcha." he announce triumphantly.

Lana panted to catch her breath from the exersion of the chase. "Looks like it." she said. Then smiled and kissed him deeply. These were the times when all the bad stuff that had happened to them just seemed disappear and all that remained in focus was him and her. That was the way it should be.

~*~*~*~*~*~

Lana walked with a bounce in her step to her locker the next morning at school. She opened it to get her books but stopped when a picture fell out of it. It landed on the floor face down. Her brow crinkled and she bent to pick it up. Her heart was racing as she turned it over. A tear ran down her cheek at what she saw. It was a picture of Courtney and Clark holding hands in the field. "What the..." she felt in her locker and picked up two more pictures. One was of Clark holding Courtney and the other was of him and Courtney kissing on the hallway. "Oh my God." she said quietly.

"Hey, baby." Clark greeted her, wrapping his arms around her waist. He was surprise when she jerked away. "Lana..." he said in a surprised voice.

"You lied to me." she said turning to face him and shoved the pictured against his chest and ran off down the hallway.

Clark watched her go then looked look down at the pictures that were now in his hands. "What the... This didn't happen." he said. He looked at all the pictured then slammed the locker closed and left the school to go see someone that could help.

~*~*~*~*~

"Lex!?" Clark called as he entered his friend's office.

Lex got up from his chair and walked around his desk saying, "Woah, Clark where's the fire."

Clark walked right up to Lex and held out the pictures. "These were in Lana's locker this morning. Someone's trying to set me up." he stated the obvious.

"Hmm." Lex hummed as he looked closely at all three of the pictures.

"Is that it? Just a 'hmm'. Lex my girlfriend believes this shit." he said. Clark rarely ever swore and when he did he meant serious business.

"These are good. My compliments to the graphics person." he said. "These pictures are manipulations. You can see where the backround is a bit altered and does Courtney have black tips to her hair?" he asked. At Clark's confused expression Lex continued. "You can see Lana's hair right here. If you just glance at the pictures from a normal distance you cant see it but if you really look.." he pointed out the spot where the black hair was visable just under Courtney's red hair.

Clark snatched the picture and looked closer. "You mean someone took this picture of me and Lana and took her out and put Courtney on her place?" he asked.

"Looks like it. I have some specialists in Metrolopis who would be willing to remake the actual photo so you can prove to Lana that this wasn't Courtney you're with in this picture." Lex suggested.

Clark was looking at the backround and saw the pebble rocks that make up the floor of the jungle gym that him and Lana were fooling around on yesterday. "This was taken yesterday. The same day that Courtney tried to convince Lana that I was cheating on her."

"I think that this girl is trying to break you guys up and by the looks of it, she has some connections. I'll send these pictures to Metropolis and get this all worked out. In the mean time you need to talk to Lana trying and make her believe you. Tell her what I said." Lex advised his friend.

"Thanks, Lex." Clark said sincerely.

Lex nodded.

~*~*~*~*~*~

It had been a week already and Lana still wouldn't talk to him. She was either in her bedroom all day or out in the yard with her horses. They hadn't even said two words to each other since the pictured turned up in Lana's locker.

Lana smiled at her favorite horse. "Hey there Pepper. How are you this morning. It Saturday so I can spend all day with you. I know your wondering where Clark is. He hurt me." she told her horse, petting his nose affectionately. Her horses were a passion to her. If she didn't have her horses things just weren't right in her world... it was the same way with Clark.

"And he's sorry." Clark said from the door of the stable. He was carrying a single red rose. She turned to look at him but turned away almost immediately. "Lana, you have to believe me. Courtney means nothing to me. Those pictures are bullshit." he declared for the millionth time.

"You've sang this song before, Clark. It's getting old." she said softly, stroking her horses forehead and jawbones. Anything to distract from the burning desire to be in Clark's arms again. She could hear him start to say something. "Just don't okay?" she almost begged. She weeped silently when she heard his footsteps retreat.

~*~*~*~*~

Lex strolled into The Talon with a big old Lexy smile plastered on his devilishly hansome face. "Lana. How's business." he said, it wasn't really a question as he already knew that business was booming since The Talon opened.

"It's fine, Lex." she said somewhat distantly, no smile graced her features. "Not much of a busy time between lunch and dinner. What are you doing here?" she asked him curiously.

"Cheer up because I have something that will turn your frown upsidedown." he said in a very corny overly exaggerated tone of voice. Before she could say anything he placed two pictured on the counter, side by side. "Look." he told her.

Her gaze dropped to the photographs. She looked from one to the other and got confused. "What this? This picture is the one that was in my locker of Courtney and Clark but.... this one and me and Clark. They look almost identical." she picked the photos up and scanned them closely. "Was this all just another hoax?" she asked him, looking up at his face with bared a smirk of satisfaction.

"Well that's because they are. Whoever did those fake pictures you found that day was a very skilled graphics designer and manipulator. He took your image out of the photo and placed the image of this red head girl." he explained. "Clark has been telling you the truth."

Her hand flew to her mouth. "I didn't want to believe it. I figured it would never happen because Clark never takes his eyes off me. I'm just shocked that someone would go to these lengths to make me and Clark split up." she said in awe.

"I think you should just accept the fact that your friend isn't that much of a friend and get your butt home to Clark." Lex told her taking the pictures from her and tossing them in the trash that sat by the counter.

She smiled and hurried out of The Talon. She had a man to apologize to and it would be the apology of the century. Hopping in her car she drove as fast as the speed limit allowed all the way to the Kent farm. Her home.

~*~*~*~*~*~

Clark was sitting on his bed trying to do his homework when he heard a car drive up. He knew it was Lana and was confused as to why she was home so early. He sighed when he realized that he wouldn't get that hello kiss when she get in the door. Damn that bitch Courtney, she will pay someday for this.

He looked up when his door opened and was surprised to see Lana standing there, eying him like fresh meat. Her face gleamed with a chasire cat smile. "Honey.. I'm home." she purred before she walked leisurely toward him, exaggerating the swing in her hips. She crawled into the bed and promptly straddled him, her lips connecting with his in a fiery passionate kiss.

Clark was totally taken aback by her change of heart. This morning she was ticked right off at him and now she was straddling him and... grinding... against him. He just thought 'who cares why' and deepened the kiss, responding to her lithe little body undulating against his.

She grinned against his lips when she felt the hard bulge in his pants. The desired reaction has been achieved. She broke the kiss to unbutton his flannel shirt and yank it off his deliciously masculine body. She discarded the shirt over her shoulder and attacked his chest with wet, open mouth kisses. God, she missed the taste of his skin.

He hissed in pleasure as her mouth closed around one of the flat male nipples. He didn't even notice that she had pulled his belt from his pants and was in the process of undoing this jeans. He didn't realize it until she pulled away from his nipples to look down when she was having trouble getting his pants undone. "Lana wait." he said out of the blue.

She looked up and brought her arms up to wrap around his neck. "Why? Don't you want me, Clark?" she asked, pressing a finger to his lips to prevent anymore talking she slid down his body and quickly devested him of his pants, bringing the boxers along with them. "Question answered." she purred as she straddled his knees and bent down, taking his hard tip into her mouth.

Clark's head fell onto the bed as she took him into her hot little mouth. He groaned as she took his as far as she could then sucked him all the way up, swirled her tongue around the head before repeating the process. He was totally incoherent as she pleasured him, her head bobbing up and down, her cheeks hollowing with her effort. His brain was just out the door.

Without warning she pulled away, quickly shedding her shirt, pants and panties before straddling his hips again. "I want you inside me." she said, something she wouldn't normally say, but her mind was too overstimulated with all things Clark.

He grabbed her and rolled them over. He groaned as her legs wrapped tightly around his waist and he kissed his deeply before slidding into her perfect little channel. She moaned and make little sounds of pleasure as he filled out once more. They were both panting when he was burried to the root inside her. "I love you." he said in a passionately labored voice.

She smiled heatedly at him and bucked her hips. "I love you too so don't keep me waiting." she said, the teasing tone in her voice showing through the purring satisfaction and anticipation. She gripped his shoulders as he began to move in and out of her. She was so glad that she got the Depo-shot because now she wouldn't have to worry about the pills anymore. She pulled her knees up as high as they could go which was almost to her ears..thank the Lord for double jointed cheerleaderness. They both moaned in pleasure as the shift allowed him deeper access.

He felt the tension increase with every thrust. He had been so worried he'd lost her and now she was here with him, making love with him. He sped up his thrusts and burried his face in the crook of her neck, placing delicate kisses to the smooth skin.

She could feel her climax approaching, the pleasure was building deep in her womb, radiating outwards. She dug her nails into his back and flipped them so she was on top. Promptly she acknowledged the new position and began to ride him hard, her hands braced on his chest for leverage as she rose up and slammed down on him. The heat was consuming her and she thought she should be afraid but it felt too good to be dangerous. This was something new she never felt before, something different... suddenly there was a bright white flash and then black.

~*~

"Lana..." her name resounded in the huge fortress of ice. She opened her eyes and saw ice beneath her face. Slowly she pushed herself into a sitting position with her arms. She looked down and realized she was fully clothed again. She ran a hand through her hair and looked around. "Lana..." her name came again and echoed off the huge walls.

"What?" she said back. "I'm here. What's going on?" she asked, almost demanding. One minute she was on top of Clark, his member moving inside her, on the brink of ecstasy, then she ended up here.... wherever here was.

"You are in a place where answers are given. That, and many other things." the voice said. It was definitely male, she decided as she rose to her feet and looked around, looking for where the voice was coming from. It seemed to come from everywhere. "I'm sorry I cannot show myself yet. Your human eyes would not be able to withstand my image."

"Oh ya. Sounds like fun." she said, getting more than a little annoyed, she wanted to go back to Clark and finish their sexcapades.

"Oh yes. You will see me, young one, if you choose to accept my offer." the male voice told her.

"Offer? What offer?" she asked, getting intrigued. Hell, she was here, she might as well get into it because she had a feeling she wouldn't be leaving until the guy told her what he had to say.

"An offer to accend to a higher state of being. I'm offering you what Clark attained when he arrived on Earth." the voice said. "If you choose to accept. You will become a Krytonian." the name echoed forever in the ice palace.

Lana was silent then put her hands on her hips. "Huh?" she said, the annoyance returning. She was taken from Clark for THIS? She had a bone to pick with this dude.

"Do you accept?" the voice asked.

She crossed her arms over her chest and shrugged. "Alright, I'll play. I accept you offer." she said. Then gasped as something slammed against her body and she was knocked off her feet and on her ass. She felt a red hot feeling start in her chest and slide through her body until it covered all of her flesh. She panted as the feeling seemed to obsorb into her body and disipate. "What the hell was THAT?" she demanded.

There was a bright white flash and the figure of a gray haired man appeared before her. "Hello, Lana Lang. I'm am Kal-El's father. You may know him as Clark Kent." he told her.

Lana got to her feet and moved closer. "Hello, sir. It's an honor to meet you but what did you do to me?" she asked, examining her hands that were still tingling from whatever this man did to her.

"I have given you the ability to be Kal-El's equal. When his mother and I sent him to Earth there were many things in store for him. I pre-recorded this virtual simulation for you, Kal-El's future wife." the man explained to her.

"You mean. I can do all that Clark can? Like run fast, heat vision, x-ray vision.. all that?" she asked, kind of excited.

"That is correct. You will be able to do all that Kal-El is capable to doing. You will gain more abilities are you grow, just as he does. But you will not have to do this alone. Now, I have no time left. Go back to him and be happy."

~*~*~*~*~*

When she returned to her body the pleasure caught her off guard and she screamed louder than she originally meant to. She felt her body's new strength and thrilled at it as she tumbled and basked in ecstasy.

Clark cried out too as he came inside her as her muscles milked him of all he's worth. Then she collapsed on his chest, breathing deeply to catch her breath. It didn't take long with her new abilities. "So does this mean you're not mad at me anymore?" he asked after a long while of just enjoying the deliriously happy afterglow.

She giggled and lifted her head from his chest to look into his eyes. "I thought I got that message across quite clear." she said. "Maybe you need some more convincing." she suggested, smiling devilishly.

"Oh definitely." he agreed.

And they spent the rest of the day making love, kissing, and just plain enjoying each other.

~*~*~*~*~*~

"You saw my father?" Clark tried to clarify as he lay with Lana hours after she 'forgave' him. She nodded with her head resting on his chest. "What did he look like?" he asked her.

Lana smiled and said, "He looked like a very important man. He was wearing all white and his hair was white. He looked a little bit like Christopher Reeve." she replied.

"What did he say to you?" he asked.

She straddled him again and held his wrists wrists above his head. "Try to get free." she told him. "Use all your strength." he instructed.

He looked at her funny but tried anyway. When he tried with just his normal strength, she still held his wrists fast to the matress above his head. He looked up at her and saw her smiling. "He gave you superstrength?" he asked. She nodded. He grinned and used all his strength. He freed his wrists and flipped them over. "I'm still stronger than you." he teased her now pinning her wrists one on each side of her head.

She giggled. "Well, you still are a guy. Guys are usually stronger and besides look at me, I'm still tiny." she told him.

"Can you do everything I can?" he asked somewhat in wonder. It was starting to sink in that he wouldn't have to hold back his abilities anymore. Since they both had them it would be just like they were normal kids together.

"I don't know yet. You dad said I'll develop them as I get older." she replied. "He also said that he recorded that message for me." she told him.

"Do you think he knew that all this would happen?" Clark asked, letting go of her hands and sitting up. He couldn't help but be embarrassed that a dad he never knew actually KNEW that he would meet Lana and have a very intimate relationship with her.

"I guess." she sat up too, pulling the covers up to cover herself. It was nothing he hadn't seen before, but it was just woman instinct to cover up. "But why does that matter. Now you don't have to treat me like glass anymore." she said only half teasing.

He chuckled. "You'll have to learn how to control your strength and every other power. It's not as easy as it looks." he told her.

She shrugged nonchalantly and shifted to straddle his lap. "I got you to help me." she said then kissed him passionately before pushing his back into bed and poucing on him.

"Damn jar." Martha cursed as she tried to open the peanut butter jar for breakfast. She made a frustrated noise and tried to open it again.

"Good morning, Martha." Lana greeted as she came down the stairs and into the kitchen. She noticed the older womans distress with the peanut butter jar and saw it as an opportunity to test her control over her abilities. See if she could open the jar without crushing it.

"Morning, Lana." Martha greeted back. "Can you get Clark down here so he can open this damn thing?" she asked.

Lana took the jar out of her hands. "I think I can get it." she said, then gripped the lid, gave it and good hard twist and it came flying off, literally. The lid flew and hit one of the cupboard doors before landing in the open floor canister on the counter. "Oops." she said.

Martha couldn't help but laugh. It had been a few days since Martha and Johnathan found out that Lana had the superstrength and it had been quite and challenge to teach her how to control it. "Thank you Lana. At least it's better than last time when you crushed the jar and got peanut butter everywhere." she said.

"Yeah. Clark was still finding peanut butter on me a week after." she said, then realized what she just said and how it could be taken the wrong way. "I mean in my hair and stuff." she said her face crimson with embarrassment.

"Yes I got that." Martha told her, picking the lid out of the floor and taking the now open jar of peanut butter from Lana. "Want some toast?" she asked.

"Yes please." Lana replied. "Clark wants eggs." she told her before taking out of frying pan and setting it on the stove.

"It's okay, Lana. I can cook them for him." Martha said, worried that Lana would get egg everywhere, which would be harder to clean up.

Lana laughed and was about to protese when Clark came down the stairs. "Morning." he greeted his mother, placing a kiss on her cheek before setting to work toasting the bread with his heat vision.

"Show off." Lana accused him, giving him a playful poke in his side. He just chuckled. "You know, I'll be able to do that soon too." she reminded him.

"When you do I hope you don't set the house on fire." he teased her.
Her mouth formed an 'o' and she playfully nudged him.

Martha started on Clark's eggs while Lana was distracted. "You two better hurry up and eat because the bus will be here soon." she told them.

"School ends early today. Spring break starts tomorrow." Clark reminded his mother. He finished with the toast and took his girlfriend in his arms to serve the dual purpose of stopping her from breaking anything and to satisfy his need to hold her.

"Are we still going to the Lake for a few days with Pete and Chelsey?" Lana asking, she had been looking foreward to spending five days away from parents and civilization with her boyfriend.

Johnathan came in from the outside with the newspaper in his hand. "Clark, Lana, there's something you need to see." he placed the paper on the kitchen island and pointed to an article.

"That's Lois." Lana stated.

"It says here she was killed in her room last night." Clark said. "But I thought she was locked up in a padded cell." starting to get worried, if Lois was dead there must be a reason for it.

Courtney smiled in satisfaction as she read the article. "So Lois. What do you think of my staging skills now?" she asked her friend. Lois walked up to the the small table that they used for eating. She looked over her shoulder. "Hey hey, not so close, I don't want to get drooled on." she said, only half serious.

Lois ignored her alltogether. "Now that I'm free, I have no use for you anymore, Courtney." she said, her voice low and dangerous. She whipped out the butcher knife and hacked off Courtney's head in a single swing. "Night night." she said to the headless corpse that now lay on the lino floor.

She laughed and walked back into the kitchen, putting the bloodied knife into the sink as if it were just covered in catsup and not blood of what used to be her friend and ally. She crouched down and picked up her headless Ken doll. "I love you, Clark." she said to the doll.

Lana hummed happily as she strolled down the hall to the girls washroom. She opened the door and walked in. The place was poorly lit because most of the lights had been smashed by some immature chick with a vengence againsts school lights or something. She checked stopped at the mirror and checked her makeup. She knew what was missing, she looked down and reached into her shoulder bag to pull out her lip gloss. When she looked up she screamed and turned to face her worse fear, Lois Lane.

Lois slapped a hand to Lana's mouth to silence her. "Shh. Don't wake the baby." she said, her voice a big jerky with her insanity. "Oh wait, there is no more baby." she said and punched Lana hard in the stomach. Her fist met steel. She screamed and jerked back from Lana.

"Things have changed Lois." Lana told her. "I'm stronger than you now." she grabbed Lois's throat and hoisted her up off the ground.

The insane bitch choked and gasped her air but then she started laughing. "You kill me you'll never know what happened to that baby." she said, her voice labored from Lana's grip of her throat.

Lana froze at her words. Then threw Lois against the brick wall and slammed her hand just beside her head. "Tell me." she demanded.

Lois laughed and coughed up blood. "That hurt little girl. You shoulda told me you like it rough I would have gone for you instead of Clark." she said. She didn't scream when Lana firmly slapped her across the face. "Okay okay. You sure you wanna know this?"

"I'm only going to ask this one more time and then I'm gonna get testy. Tell. Me. What. You. Did." she demanded again.

She laughed again and whiped her mouth. "It wasn't me. Well, not really." she said vaguely. Lana waited silently for her to continue. "It was Courtney."

"How was it Courtney's fault. All she did was try and split me and Clark up so she could get a shot at him." Lana said, confused but not showing it all.

"Are you sure about that." Lois asked. "Courtney wasn't after Clark. It was you she wanted. Anyone could have told you that dear Courtney was a lesbien in disguise."

"What? No, you're lying." Lana accused.

"Hey don't shoot the messenger. All I did was pay the bitch. The deal was that after she got you and Clark separated that I would get Clark and she would get you." Lois told her. "Neat huh?"

Lana punched her in the nose, hard. Lois screamed and held her damaged nose. "Now I'm gonna wait until you tell me the truth." she said calmly.

"f**k!" Lois swore as she craddled her broken nose. "I paid Courtney to pay off the doctor to tell you your baby was dead." she told the whole story.

Lana took a step back and eyed Lois suspiciously. "My baby was dead. The doctor told me. The same doctor that treated me since I was born." she said.

Lois laughed histerically dispite her pain. "Your baby was perfectly healthy. You were tricked, you dumb bitch. Clark could have just used that fabulous x-ray vision and seen that the baby's heart was still going strong."

"My child could still be alive right now." she said mostly to herself. "You did this to me. You assisted in the murder of my child."

"Oh come on, Lana. We both know you never-" a firm punch right in the nose again silenced the insane bitch, and also rendered her unconscious.

Lana stood there and watched the unconscious form of the woman who paid her friend to try and ruin everything Clark and her had. She used all her superstrength and delivered a hard kick right to the bitch's stomach then left to find Courtney.

She walked out into the hallway and walked right into Clark. "Lana, are you okay?" he asked, there was blood on her hand so he took it in his and examined it for any sign of a cut. He found none. "What happened.

"Lois." she said. "Lois is responsible for it all."

"Sweetheart, Lois is dead. We saw it in the paper this morning." he reminded her. "Are you sure you're okay?" he asked her. She shook her head and went into his arms, leaning all her weight against his chest.

~*~*~*~*~

"That's it?" Clark asked when Lana finished telling him the whole story. It was after school and they were back home in the loft. He held her as they sat on a bale of hay.

"Yeah. After Lois told me the whole story I knocked her out. I should have known that my baby was still alive." Lana said. "Don't you think I should have known? It was a part of me."

"You couldn't have. We were tricked by a very troubled girl. Tomorrow we'll go to the hospital and have a talk with that doctor. We'll get this all straightened out." he promised her.

She nodded and cuddled against him. "I'm just glad it's over. Lois is under arrest for murdering Courtney and all the evidence points to her."

"We'll never have to worry about her ever again." Clark said.
