Soups in Color
A soup in color never fails to impress!
Color, children love, adults love ~everybody loves things that are colorful -so about soups in colour.
It's psychological -people are impressed by soups in color ~they are often indifferent to soups, but everybody are impressed by a soup in color -and, of course, they compliment the cook…
Even 'soups' impress that are not soups all, if one is creative -as in the later examples below.
It is easy to make colored soups, and soups in color cost no more than other soups to make -several color soups are listed below:-
There are two kinds of color soups one can make -which gives the cook a veriety of three different kinds of color in soups, when added to soups with their own colour ~varying one color soup with the another color soup makes color soups more interesting for family, kids, guests -and more impresses and gets compliments for the cook.
Ordinary = White… Soups such as rice soup, onion soup, potato soup, have their own whitish colour, -to the kids, that is itself a colour, "white soup, today".
Ordinary = Beige or Greyish… Soups such as with yellow split peas, lentil soup, do not have much colour when made into soup, they often look beige or greyish which is not, even as white, is pleasing to the eye - use a drop of liquid food coloring to bring out their natural color, e.g., yellow, if the soup is of yellow split peas.
Ordinary = Color… Colored vegetables, can be used to create color as well variety in taste -do not stick with the traditional soups, there is nothing wrong with, and it is interesting to those served it, to make a soup only of one vegetable ~especially if the soup is thick…
People do not use their imagination… Try...
Peppers -green, yellow, red, pepper soup…Cabbage -green and red cabbage soup… Shallots -reddish shallot, white onion soup…
Parsnip -and thinly sliced carrots, nice soup…
Be creative, mix vegetables, colors, both…
White -potatoes, parsnips, mushroom, onions..
Green -peas, green pepper, cabbage, celery…
Blue -red cabbage, red swedes, aubergines...
Red -shallots, red cabbage, red pepper, tomato
Yellow -yellow peas, yellow pepper, lemon…
Rainbow -carrots, beetroots, sprouts, potatoes.
Did you know that what is not soup can be turned into 'soup, presented so -and liked and enjoyed, with praise to the cook for creativity?
Even fruit can be made into interesting tasty soups in color, simply by being pureed and slightly watered and heated and salted to taste:
Carrot -pink…
Tomato -red…
Banana or melon -yellow...
Seedless black grapes, fresh dark figs -purple.
Color is interesting, it is attractive -why do you think even pasta, often, comes in different colors?…
