Life wriggles in the pool,
black commas extending its page
through watery texts.
I wonder at its tiny magnitude,
fragile thunder
of exultant momentary touches.
Each chapter enthralls
the butterfly dancer
with fragrances of future
layered within the smiling wrinkles
of past.
