| Batman Returns could definetly have been better. There were good actors and actresses, but they're not much without a good story. And this one could have been much better. By looking at it, you wouldn't know it was a sequel to the first film until you looked at the "Returns" part of the title. To me, it seemed that they completely disconnected from the first film. But it was better than a later coming Bat-film. Anyways, I still watch this film from time to time. It's something that's there when I need to pass time by. Anyways, on with the review: Four and a half stars for Cast: Some decisions could have been better as far as casting. Three and a half stars for story: Not the best Bat-story, but this movie sold alot of tickets. Five stars for director: Tim Burton was an excellent choice for this film. OVERALL SCORE FOUR STARS This one is probably my third favorite of the live-action Bat-Films. |
