(L)Batman is back, and once again voiced by Kevin Conroy. With him on the left is Robin (Eli Marienthal) and the mysterious Batwoman (Kyra Sedgwick). (R) The three Batwoman suspects. Kathy (Kimberly Brooks), Sonia (Elisa Gabrielli), and Rocky (Kelly Ripa).
Four villains in this one, including Bane (Left, voiced now by actor Hector Elizondo), who is joined by Carlton Duquesne (Kevin Michael Richardson), The Penguin (David Ogden Stiers), and returning for the first time in over 8 years, Rupert Thorne (John Vernon).
Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman. The first animated Batman film since 2000's Batman Beyond: Return of The Joker. And what a return! Batman has to find out who a mysterious vigilante is, and at the same time, destroy a crime ring controlled by Rupert Thorne, The Penguin, and Carlton Duquesne. And then at the last minute, they threw in someone I'd never expected to see: BANE! This film was surprisingly gripping, but had some low points. Anyways, on with the review :

CAST: Kevin Conroy as Batman (again, YAY!), Efrem Zimbalist Jr. back as Alfred, but I think I liked Matthew Valencia better as Robin. Some supporting roles could have had better casting. Four and a Half out of Five Stars.

STORY: Great, although should've realized that Batman is the true identity, and Bruce Wayne is the REAL mask. It may have emphasized more on Bruce Wayne than Batman. Four out of Five stars.

DIRECTORS: Two veterans from the Animated Series, and they did a great job. Five out of Five stars.

OVERALL SCORE
                         FOUR AND A HALF STARS

A good return to the media for the Dark Knight.
