Falling Sorrow Sometimes
Regret about the past yesterday,
fear the future tomorrow,
live your life in the present,
and do not succumb to sorrow.

It seems so hopeless and so far,
you cannot smile, you cannot feel,
but struggle on through the night,
in time you shall see, and you shall heal.

Sometimes you'll sink, sometimes you'll sail,
and each day may be difficult to cope,
but greet each morning with life afresh,
because its a new beginning for new hope.

Though the path is long and dark,
even though you cannot see a light,
trust, have faith, and continue your journey,
your friends walk beside you in your plight.

For now you still grieve and weep,
you try to look up, but you cannot bear,
please reach out and share your burden,
I promise to you, someone will care.
Sometimes darkness descends once more,
a silent storm approaching with alacrity,
a shroud upon the sight of clarity,
sweeping you off your feet to your fall.

Sometimes truth becomes illusion to sight,
with a road that leads to nowhere but sorrow,
journeying to nothing but loneliness on the morrow,
without the will to search for that false light.

And as the waves of alluring oblivion drown,
the sorrowful pain streaking through you rife,
the tears mingling within your empty life,
you find yourself beckoned ever further down.

Sometimes only a soul of light and hope,
one who can believe in in truth once more,
with faith in miracles and joy to cry for,
can show your soul how one can cope.

And Sometimes your eyes gaze hopelessly around,
for a glimpse of freedom to all your fears,
for a loving heart to understand your tears,
and seeking a light upon the darkness surround.

And One Day you sight upon that brilliant glory,
Shining so bright and so true amidst the gloom,
Like a joyful and hopeful flower ready to bloom,
And you finally see yourself.
