The Nidhoggr (named after an ancient terran dragon of the underworld) is a transport, build from the wreckage of a disabled Carnage class cruiser. By adding vast cargo holds, the ship can not only carry ground assault troops, but also daemonic war engines. Hangar bays hold cargo shuttles and landing craft, but some fighters and assault boats for attacks and self-defense were also added.  The Nidhoggr travels with a small squadron of dedicated assault ships and has proved itself to be a reliable and capable vessel and has decided more than one ground assault.
